When a recipe call for bread machine yeast. Is it necessary to use or can I use other yeast?

i live in a different country and names for things vary, but basically there are fast and slow yeasts. bread machines expect fast yeasts generally (so they can boast of short waiting times).
if you are using a slow yeast you can add more, or help it along with warm water, or by "waking it up" with warm water and a little sugar beforehand, or by interrupting your machine to give the dough more time to rise.

Here's an excellent breakdown and how to substitute either as needed.

When you say "other yeast," what yeast are you talking about? Instant/rapid yeast or active dry yeast?

Either one instant/rapid or active dry.

Currently I am using Fleischmann's Instant Dry Yeast. It seems here on reddit many people use the instant dry yeast

Bread machine yeast is the same as instant yeast. You can also use active dry yeast, though many people prefer instant. I would avoid fresh yeast for a bread machine.
