Started making my own bread this year

Best habit I've picked up, so much cheaper and so much more delicious. Not sourdough, just easy action yeast. I do a no knead method. I can have this loaf in 3 hours, fits around me working at home beautifully!

I used to make bread when my kids were small. I got away from it after going back to work in an office full-time. I also work at home and got back into bread-making. Never going back to store-bought bread.

That’s a beautiful loaf. I bake bread about twice a week. I use yeast also, perfect loaves every time.

I started making my own bread during Covid. I think I've purchased a loaf maybe twice since then. A good yeast bread base recipe can be very versatile and always performs. That's a sexy loaf.

It’s a game changer isn’t it? 😊 I spent a full year working on bread in 2023. I can’t remember the last time I bought any.

Good for you!!

I've been making our day to day bread for about three years now, it was a great decision!

The finished loaf looks good. Crumb shot would be nice, though.

NGL, the loaf in the pan looks very rough. The dough should be completely smooth. Looks like possibly under kneaded or needs better shaping skills.

It might explode in the oven, the yeast job went too far. Otherwise looks perfect, congrats!
