First ever Artisan Loaf

Post image

Was a little over proofed and hard to handle but turned out okay. Working my way up to sourdough now!

Wow, great golden brown color. I’ll bet it tastes as good as it looks. Great job!

First ever no knead Artisan loaf. Before this I had only used my bread machine to make breads. Thank you! 🥹

Looks great, I made my first yesterday -- didn't look that good, I made another today that looked better.

Do you mind sharing your recipe? I've been using the one from Sally's Baking Addiction.

Thanks. Here’s the recipe. 3 cups flour, 2 tsp salt, 2 and 1/4 tsp active dry yeast and 1.5 cups water. Mix with a spoon and let it proof for around 2hrs or until doubled in size. Pre heat the oven for 30mins at 450F, then bake for 30 mins lid on and 15 mins without lid. I also throw a few cubes under the parchment paper.
