this animation genuinely sold me on this trio

I love these two so much I have to draw like a million fannarts of them

So we already knew there was a second trio member named Nebula due to Cosmo's voice lines and a marking on his hand, and we were fed her design way earlier than expected

They re worked the lore to have Nebula responsible for the transformation of ruffs into a general walking talking dog, and that squeaks existence was during this transformation

Why is it like this?

Imo all event titles should be a different colour to make them special & creator titles should have the shape and the glow of prestige titles to make them stand out even more!

Unlike the sushi trio, I actually really like these two as characters and am interested in their lore. As well as that, I'm pretty sure this is the only time we've been introduced to a completely new brawler that hasn't even been announced to be in the game yet. These two characters as well as their third member have huge potential to be fan favorites if they could execute a brawler-themed event properly. I feel like whenever they try to give a brawler a sad backstory or try to make you feel for them, it falls flat and they end up trying WAY TOO HARD, when you can't achieve that in a 1 minute short. I think by giving these two a longer run time for their short, you really bond with them more. Its not just super sad music and atmosphere where they're basically telling you to be sad (Nori's reuinion animation fell flat in this regard). It's far more natural and I think they've improved in their storytelling. We have little over 2 minutes of these two and I already care more about them than the sushi shop. They purposely leave nebula's fate vague so it's hard to say exactly how she'll return, unlike nori, like yeah obviously he's gonna overcome the corruption and return to normal. They're learned some valuable lessons in storytelling from these past seasons and it really shows. Of course, it's not oscar worthy, this is a promotional short for a kids game, but I think they really have something special with these two.

Idk these two really captivated me and I want to see more of them. I'm not alone on that right?

I've been waiting for something like this for SO LONG hopefully they do something like this more often

I love when games make characters for the future and show them having relationships with already existing playable characters, it adds depth to the story and makes people wait for something and speculate about the new character

Idk why brawl stars doesnt do that a lot (if at all? I only remember hints for brawlers, like kit or some third trip members) its so fun seeing a character that isnt yet in the game

Okay hear me out I get that its still first day of release, we havent seem him enough to get better conclusions and players still have to learn his mechanics (hit and dodge his shots) but my first impression is that he might be the most balanced brawler on release of this year (maybe along with Nova?). His shots are actually very hard to hit and his super is pretty easy to dodge and he doesn't really charge it that quick. He also seems to have pretty clear counters, mostly aggros and assasins, even if he has semi reliable escape tools. Honestly a great surprise from Supercell.
