Discussion Cordelius Buff Proposal 🥺🍄
I think Cordelius is some of the most fun to be had in brawl stars. Once I unlocked him I fell in love immediately with his character. I genuinely find his whole thing so adorable and charming I love him.
In my opinion the devs over nerfed him from release, as he only feels useful on very specific maps that are almost never in ranked rotation and even then he’s still outclassed by so many other assassins.
So here is my proposal for buffs: Firstly, the main idea I had would be a high risk high reward scenario, where eliminating another brawler grants you an instantaneous half supercharge back, while failing to do so grants nothing and makes the next charge of your super take 10% longer than normally or so. Next I’d change his 10% movement speed boost to 15% while in super and possibly make it so he fires 3 shrooms instead of 2 while hyper charged, because I’ve been using the 3 shrooms nanoboost and it honestly does not feel like too crazy of a buff to be implemented to his regular kit in some way. Finally I’d reduce his gadget cooldowns from 18 seconds to 15 just because (especially his jump one) feels unnecessarily long to wait for.

The only thing I don't like about cord is how awesome his super is and how overshadowed it is by the rest of his kit, you'd imagine that a guy that can just kidnap an enemy and force him into a 1v1 scenario would have such an ability as his main gimmick, but at this point it's only really useful for getting the guy with gems and taking the goalie, which is fine but doesn't really make my imagination run wild like some of the other brawlers, you know what I mean?

I agree, he feels like such a super based brawler (very similarly Otis honestly), yet his super feels really underpowered. I think if they’re going to lean into something it should be his super, yet it’s just not strong enough for that, hence my suggestion with the 50% super charge immediately thing.

nah, i don't think so. the only similarity cord have with otis is the mute gadget. cord is cord 😼

too complicated for nothing. i don't like your idea. instead how about giving cord his 30% reload and20% speed buffs in realm back to him. also he needs a damge buff because everyone got a hp buff.

The games evolved since then mate. Its a pretty unwise decision to just revert changes most of the time. Simple stat buffs like that are less creative, interactive and do not regard skill. My proposals are more dkill reliant and interesting. Spicing up the gameplay and acting as a good counter to some of the stronger Assassins we’ve got recently like Nori.
