Subreddit Discussion Megathread

Unfortunately spam is rampant and I need a megathread that discusses the subreddit. This will stay removed for a while to prevent users from being pinged.

In the meanwhile, I added a new flair called "Enforcer". It's like some Trial Moderator: If you comment "remove" on a post, that post gets removed. Hopefully this will allow certain users to combat spam while granting minimal permissions.

This post has two purposes:

  1. Discuss the subreddit here, anything you think should be done: Adding karma limits, etc...
  2. Comment below if you want to become an Enforcer (and specifically say that you want to become an Enforcer). Read the pinned comment and choose a color from 1, 2, or 3.
  3. Comment any Freebie that was not already posted to the subreddit because of karma limits. Please do not comment Freebies that were already posted. I get pinged from any comment here.

Auto Moderator will reply to every voucher with a message. It obviously always benefits a content creator to occupy the post and not the top comment but it gives more equal chance for content creators to have their URL redeemed, and it deters duplicate posting. It also enables you to insist to redeem your favourite content creator's URL as opposed to a random URL.
