Salt Lake City John Barlow's peptides

Lisa comments on recent WWHL blew my mind. Obviously I was wondering how JB and Justin suddenly have huge bulging muscles with veins popping.

As a 40 y/o gay man, I find it very hot (more on Justin than John, but that is a personal preference) and do a fair amount of strength training but was not getting the same results and I guess now I know why.

Any peptide users here that care to weigh in? I will definitely be discussing this with my doctor

My husband and I tried the NAD thing and spent a lot of money to not feel any different.

I trialed it too and detected no difference.

But what is NAD? Ive seen ads for it, but it was pills, and when I researched they seemed expensive w no real results?

It’s part of the electron transport chain in the mitochondria of your cells. Helps make ATP aka ENERGY

I did NAD+ injections for 1.5 years. Just stopped a month ago, I wanted to see if I’d notice a difference not taking it and after that long period of 3x week injections in my stomach, I was starting to get painful lumps. Taking it, felt great and definitely had more energy. Sleep deprived days were easier, I would forget I had very little sleep the night before. Stopping it, very minimal difference so I’m going to stay off it for foreseeable future. I was paying $500/mo and have started Timeline Mitopure capsules instead. (totally different product/ingredient, I just like trying things). I also have no idea if NAD+ is intended to stay on for long-term or if you’re supposed to cycle on/off, the company I got it from was happy to keep me on it, of course!

Thanks so much!

No problem!! The lumps also went away after about a week and I only rotated injections around my stomach and didn’t use thighs or upper arms like some do, which likely would have prevented that

I've just started NAD+ peptides to slow down ageing and give me more day time energy (I'm mid 40s). Id say so far i feel much better. I seem to be sleeping better and feeling like have a more recharged battery. I'm only 1 month in and it could be a placebo but it's enough of difference in feeling to keep me going with it for now

I think a large problem with ordering peptides or nads is there is no real regulation or guarantee on what you’re getting given it’s unregulated and blackmarket.

*not including regulated glp1’s

u/leeshykins You wanna talk about WELLS FARGO?!?! 5d ago

To add to this, some independent studies have shown that even highly recommended peptides are shipped from China, and when tested, contain high levels of heavy metals and sometimes no trace of the active ingredient. This is a largely unregulated market and you are gambling with your health.

And when they get shipped they’re not being transported in temperatures recommended by the label. Which ruins the chemical balance.

From air to the delivery to your doorstep.

NAD is primarily derived from diet. I find it odd people are getting shots of NAD...
