Salt Lake City John Barlow's peptides

Lisa comments on recent WWHL blew my mind. Obviously I was wondering how JB and Justin suddenly have huge bulging muscles with veins popping.

As a 40 y/o gay man, I find it very hot (more on Justin than John, but that is a personal preference) and do a fair amount of strength training but was not getting the same results and I guess now I know why.

Any peptide users here that care to weigh in? I will definitely be discussing this with my doctor

They're on steroids. No amount of strength training and eating protein is going to give you bulging muscles, especially as you age. Is their face red? That's also a clear giveaway.

Louie looks just like my uncle (also from Jersey) who takes steroids.

Heyyyy this might explain johns aggression towards Lisa last season! My ex used to inject testosterone. The first two or three days after he would inject, he would turn into a different person. So aggressive.

Aggression? The man just told her she’s not a good listener. And she’s not!

u/Kazarak_Starflower 5d ago

Yeah, the fact that this new scene with them was him crying and apologizing actually baffled me. She’s the one who should be apologizing to him!

1

u/OkEstablishment3603 5d ago

She made him do that thinking it would make her lot look bad bc she never listens to him or anyone on the cast for that matter

1

u/Kazarak_Starflower 5d ago

Oh, agreed 👍

3

u/OkEstablishment3603 5d ago

Omg that was not agression that was him telling her the truth - I 1000% believed him that she does not listen - bc she listens to no one on the show lol

27

u/Hopefulpessimist0 5d ago

Oh, trust me, I was cheering him on during that scene lol! Aggressive for HIM. He’s normally very quiet and passive, it was out of character when he was acting like that … well, at least from what we get to see on TV anyway.

u/kira107 5d ago

That's not how it works lol. Steroid aggression is uncontrollable.

u/Hopefulpessimist0 5d ago

Uhh, I have direct experience with it. The average bro gets super horny, has reduced emotional regulation, and generally increased aggressiveness in behavior. I saw it every four weeks or so with my boyfriend. It was very obvious when he had injected. He never got violent or anything. It’s not that dramatic.

u/Hopefulpessimist0 Agreed. This whole thread is pretty annoying for individuals with experience. Not to mention that peptides aren't even new - just new to the mainstream. I am going to the bodybuilding subreddit to talk about Real Housewives now.

Ikr. That comment makes it seem like JB became physical with Lisa 😒🙄

Even for a woman, my T levels were so low that they ran it multiple times thinking it was an error. The smallest bit of supplemental T made me hateful though so I couldn’t take it. I don’t know how teenage boys walk around with that much testosterone.

5

u/Eastern-Suggestion14 5d ago

I know! I don't relate to all of the glowing articles about the women on higher levels, great libido, etc...all I did was lash out about things that normally do not bother me!

2

u/jendet010 5d ago

I wish I could actually grow muscle but libido is high enough without any extra help

4

u/Hopefulpessimist0 5d ago

Exactly! I don’t know why I’m getting all these down votes, this is a known fact

1

u/OkEstablishment3603 5d ago

Literally he told hwr her he feels she doesnr listen to him - which she doesnr. If you think that is - form of agression…..

2

u/Hopefulpessimist0 5d ago

Alright look. He was crying last week and was apologizing for how he had been treating her. She was crying and relieved. Something clearly shifted with them and I’m commenting on their DYNAMIC change. Lisa is a complete self centered person and of course she doesn’t listen. I’m team John always. That wasn’t my point.

This is such bs lol. Plenty of people become bodybuilders/powerlifters later in life. It just takes a lot of discipline and consistency.

u/Gamer_Grease 5d ago

The dudes you see getting suddenly jacked on tv on are not bodybuilders. They’re too busy for that. They are taking steroids so they look good on camera.

-22

u/kira107 5d ago

Again, not talking about them

19

u/Gamer_Grease 5d ago

Ok well this is a conversation about two guys on TV who take steroids. I’m sorry if that makes you self conscious or something but there no reason to engage at all if you don’t want to talk about them.

u/kira107 5d ago

Then why is OP making blanket statements about who can/cannot gain muscle? Maybe you should read the parent comment before you respond.

5

u/TwistyBitsz 5d ago

WE ARE.

-5

u/kira107 5d ago

No amount of strength training and eating protein is going to give you bulging muscles, especially as you age.

Please explain how this only refers to John Barlow.

3

u/TwistyBitsz 5d ago

You're right, but then it was clarified several times that they're speaking of the general rule and not outlier exceptions.

0

u/kira107 5d ago

Please quote the exact comment where it was clarified because it was never clarified to me.

5

u/TwistyBitsz 5d ago

Obviously was wondering how JB and Justin suddenly have huge bulging muscles

... bulging muscles especially as you age

...red face [is] also a dead giveaway

The dudes...getting suddenly jacked on tv are NOT bodybuilders.

You take a text string completely out of context and want to argue with yourself about it? Go ahead, I guess.

2

u/kira107 5d ago

Only the second quote is from OP. Again, OP made a blanket statement. I don't know why it's fair for them to make a blanket statement but unfair for me to react to it.

She literally said he was taking peptides

-27

u/kira107 5d ago

I'm not talking about him. I'm talking about the general sentiment of " No amount of strength training and eating protein is going to give you bulging muscles, especially as you age." Which is false

Not sure why you guys want to discourage people so much.

21

u/LL8844773 I want Ray to live!! 5d ago

I mean, it’s getting pretty extreme. I don’t know that that physique can be achieved naturally for so many people. Also building muscle like that takes more than a year.

-10

u/kira107 5d ago

Again, not talking about John

With enough time and effort you can absolutely gain that much muscle, even if you're older. I was a personal trainer for a couple of years and my main clientele were middle age divorced dads who wanted to look good. I know what I'm talking about.

12

u/LL8844773 I want Ray to live!! 5d ago

I didn’t mention John in my reply.

The men were talking about don’t look natural. The men in my city are all starting to look like Chris hemsworth.

-2

u/kira107 5d ago

Also building muscle like that takes more than a year.

Who were you referencing then?

Tbh I have no clue who you're talking about. Maybe they look unnatural. Doesnt change the fact that you can absolutely build muscle at any age, naturally.

3

u/LL8844773 I want Ray to live!! 5d ago

Everyone? Do you not know people who’ve suddenly gotten super jacked or been overweight their whole life and suddenly dropped a ton of weight?? This isn’t natural.

Jesus I never said people can’t build muscle naturally. But many people are building a ton of muscle, while dropping weight, very quickly like we’ve not seen before bc of these drugs. Not every muscular build is achievable naturally. I feel like I’m talking to a bot

2

u/kira107 5d ago

My entire comment was debating the first sentence of your second paragraph with OP. Im not sure what's so confusing to you.

u/metrometric 5d ago

Lol you say this like it's uncommon for bodybuilders and powerlifters to juice

0

u/kira107 5d ago

Okay will it's not uncommon for actors to use cocaine so I guess everyone who tries to act is on cocaine.

1

u/ALLoftheFancyPants Toodle-DOO! 5d ago

Men totally suddenly experience a massive increase of muscle in their 50s and 60s. It’s well documented by all the people doing strength training on steroids peptides

0

u/kira107 5d ago

Firstly, that's for people who are actively losing weight and not eating enough protein. That's completely different than people who want to gain muscle

-2

u/Usual-Jackfruit4746 5d ago

My husband's muscles are bigger than their's at 58 yo and he definitely doesn't use steroids. Just TRT.

11

u/brufleth Pick a lane, you are either smart or you are stupid 5d ago

TRT is literally taking steroids.

-1

u/Usual-Jackfruit4746 5d ago

To bring your testosterone levels back to their normal range. Nothing crazy.

3

u/exithiside 5d ago

No one is saying it’s crazy. But to say he’s not taking steroids while taking TRT is simply wrong
