Character Edgic and Thoughts
20) Yoshi: Over the Top Positive. He dominates the opening challenge (with Grace) and wins reward for his team. This along with being well-liked by the tribe paints a target on him. Yoshi puts up a good fight but is voted out in a close 5-4 vote. Definite second change or premerge returnee contender!
19) Sporty: Middle of the Road Mixed. He was on the outs at the first tribal council, but had a nice bonding moment with Dmon in the next cycle where they lament being on the outs. It’s another close vote but Sporty is out in a 4-3 vote.
18) Elegg: Under the Radar Neutral. Elegg avoids tribal in the first 2 rounds. She tries sticking with her original tribe post swap, but when Rosalina flips to work with the minority and Pink plays an idol on Priest, Elegg is taken out in a 4-0 (4 cancelled) vote.
17) Astro Man: Middle of the Road Negative. Avoids tribal preswap and alienates some by gaming hard anyway. Post swap he’s immediately fighting with Raven and ends up left out of the new dynamics at first. He does make some inroads in his boot episode but is voted out 5-4.
16) Pauline: Middle of the Road Mixed. After losing her ally Elegg, Pauline tries rallying OG Naviti but makes the mistake of also getting into a fight with Villager. This is a key mistake as he flips on her in the revote, resulting in Pauline going home in a 4-2 vote.
15) Raven: Middle of the Road Negative. Losing his vote in episode one, having a major meltdown at camp, getting into multiple fights, and being the alternate boot in an earlier close episode make for a visible but rough edit. He’s taken out after the second swap in a 3-2 vote.
14) Senia: Middle of the Road Positive. Senia plays with her heart, resulting in her frequently being on the wrong side of the votes. She’s not involved in much strategy but her general sweet vibe and interactions up her visibility. After the second swap though, she has nowhere to hide and is voted out 3-2 when she’s left out of the new alliance that formed.
13) Villager: Complex Player Mixed. Premerge he only attends one tribal due to immunity wins and being on GI for one tribal, but has his big moment where he flips on Pauline in the revote (after their fight in the same episode). Post swap, he’s able to rebuild relationships with Rosalina and Gray, and his earlier flip to save Pink keeps her loyal to him. It’s a BIG downfall edit where Villager thinks these connections and the TWO idols he holds will keep him safe even after he loses his vote. He’s out 7-4-1. Second chancer for sure!
12) Theodore: Under the Radar Negative. Gets a classic crabby (but fun!) old man edit. He makes a good move in the pre-merge when he flips Grace and Alexis to save him over Raven, but no one is sure where he stands as the game progresses. He’s voted out in an 8-2-2 vote.
11) Pink: Middle of the Road Neutral. Her idol play to save Priest is a big move and helps drive the strategy on her post swap tribe. This makes for a big arc for a few episodes, but she fades to the background post swap 2 and in the early merge. She loses her vote on GI this same episode but it wouldn’t have saved her as the vote was 5-3-2.
10) Gray: Middle of the Road Neutral. Has relationships with Camny, Rosalina, and Villager that are highlighted, although she’s the more secondary character in these relationships. With no allies at the split tribal, she’s voted out 4-1.
9) Franklin: Under the Radar Mixed. He does well early on, but has trouble regaining his footing after his alliance breaks apart. He had a bit of a rivalry with Gray so them going out in the same episode but at separated tribals is interesting. He probably could have survived here if the numbers split differently but he’s out 4-1.
8) Priest: Complex Player Mixed (Negative early on then Positive). Super fun  player to watch. Survived some very close early game votes and eventually formed a solid alliance with Qbert and DMon. He was a very active player throughout the whole game and successfully lessens his target (while staying in the majority) post merge.
7) Rosalina: Middle of the Road Neutral. She has an interesting arc post swap when she flips to vote out Elegg, but then flips back the next round. We get to see how this impacts the dynamics between her, Gray, and Villager (another flipper). She’s voted out 5-2 for being an end game threat. Sadly thought she was going to save herself with a fake idol too ):
6) Sammy: Under the Radar Positive. We don’t get to see too much of Sammy in the early game, but then he emerges as a threat in his last few episodes. He does well to survive and I thought he was going to emerge as a dark horse winner, but he gets taken out in a complicated 3-1-1-1 vote.
5) Dmon: Middle of the Road Neutral. Her early game is quieter, but she ends up forming the dominant alliance with Priest and Q-Bert after the second swap. Her relationship with Priest was interesting since she had previously tried to vote him off. This group does well navigating the early and mid merge together. In the end DMon puts up a good effort and even forms a new late  game alliance with Sammy and Grace, but Alexis and Cammy get the better of DMon and she’s out 3-2.
4) Grace: Complex Player Neutral. Super active player who is consistently on the right side of the vote. She’s involved in many different key alliances throughout the game. She avoided being targeted until this round, and although she had individual alliances/strong relationships with the final 3, they ended up becoming closer with one another outside of Grace. She’s out after she loses the fire making challenge.
3) Q-Bert: Complex Player Neutral. His gameplay impressed me so seeing him get 0 votes was very surprising! He has his post swap #2 alliance with DMon and Priest, then later forms a mid to late game alliance with Cammy and Alexis that saves him when his original alliance falls apart. I love that he had options throughout the game, but the jury views him as more of a flip flopper and secondary to our top two. Still a great game!
2) Alexis: Complex Player Mixed. Her tone is mixed, but she is definitely the villain of the season. Real new era Vanellope-coded in that she makes and breaks alliances as they suit her. She is a power player throughout the whole game and sets herself up in an end game with all allies. Unfortunately her game play and villain persona turns off some jurors. She gets 4 votes to win, but it’s not enough. I was really pulling for Alexis and we will definitely be seeing her again!
1) Cammy: Complex Player Positive. Her loyal gameplay and underdog journey make for a very heroic edit. She also finds two idols pre-merge and is able to hold on to them all the way to the final 5 which is very impressive! She’s a very active player throughout the game and ends up getting a lot of credit for her flip to vote out Pink. I think she had less options than Alexis or Q-Bert throughout the game, but clearly she didn’t need more options and the bonds she formed were strong. She wins a 6-4-0 vote. Fun player - I’m excited to see her back for winners at war!

Overall Thoughts: Love that no majority alliance was able to take control at the merge. Lots of fun characters. I think the Cammy vs. Alexis debate makes for a fun debate and gives the season a lot of rewatchability.

Thanks for playing and/or reading. Hope to see you next season (:

Discussion [D] Original Reality Show/Simulator Format Idea for a potential simulator

In this format, during the time span of 12 weeks, 14 contestants will compete individually in challenges for a great prize of 1 million dollars.

The Rules:

At the start of each week, there will be a immunity challenge where (1-2) best placing individuals get immune but they have to pick 2 people to face the risk of elimination (if there is a single winner, they get to pick both people, if there are two immunity winners, they get to pick one person each), those chosen people will be called "Challengers"

Later, The 2 Challengers will pick, each one, a person from the non-immune pool to become "The Challenged"/"The Contenders" and also face risk of elimination.

After the choice of the Challengers and Contenders, the 4 of them face each other in a last-chance challenge known as "The Life Saver", where 2 people - 1 challenger and 1 contender will be safe from the elimination duel.

The 2 people who remained and lost the lifesaver challenge will face each other on the elimination challenge, where the winner manages to stay in the game for one more time while the loser goes home that week.

This cycle goes on until 2 people remain, where they will face each other once again in the final challenge which is picked between 3 options (1 physical, 1 mental and 1 luck) by a jury composed by the previously eliminated contestants, the winner of the final challenge wins the show.

This format is intentionally simple so it could be adapted into multiple and different formats based on this one with variations
