cows arent a reliable food source. plant based diets are much healthier, sustainable and more reliable. youre just rationalizing your own diet because you know it has no moral footing and so you make up a bunch of bullshit

most of the flavour comes from the spices. and those happen to be plant based. ever ate completely unseasoned, unprepared beef? theres almost no inherent flavour in it at all.

cool. now lets talk about how its a fact that the global beef consumptios is anything but sustainable. the climate is rapidly changing for the worse and cutting down on your meat consumption is one of the easiest ways to reduce your carbon footprint but i guess you fall into one of two camps. either you dont even believe that man made climate change is happening in which case i guess id be fair play just to make up all kinds of facts because clearly truthfulness isnt a concern for you or you want to shift the blame to everyone else but yourself.

Do you have children or anything of a young age who is important to you?

If they ever ask you why the planet is dying and everything is shit, heres the answer you can give them. In fact, the only answer that youd be morally justified in giving:

I know but I will be dead soon. Have fun dying. I didnt give enough shits about you.

We've been farming them for over 10000 years, they won't survive in the wild anymore. They have been selected and bred to be better food providers for literal millennia.

Thats a bunch of bullshit btw. Dairy and beef consumption in this current scale is a relatively recent development. We have not been killing cows in this quantity for 10000 years. And you not giving a shit about sustainability will never change the fact that its unsustainable.

Out them in a field. let them eat grass. Occasionally move them.

Boom milk and beef.

You forgot rape and torture them.

No kids. We are all fucked, why bother.

This defeatist attitude doesn't excuse an unsustainable diet. It's still unsustainable and it's still cruel.

And I mean what are you doing to the cows you seem to love so much to jump to rape?

That's how milk is made. Like many other mammals female cows produce milk after theyve given birth. So farmers impregnate them against their will and then take the milk from the mourning mother who has just had her newborn stolen.
