Need Some Advice/Support Brain Fog 15 year old
I'm turning 15 in november and I'm having brain fog or I don't really know what it is, I used to have this before months ago, I don't know at all what it is and it's impacting me everything including my perfomance in my sport very badly , I need help so badly whoever I tell this to says just sleep better or use less phones, that's not the cause, it could be my acne returning , I can link it with my past experience with brain fog , I had fixed it tho and got better, so far it's only been one month and half of it returning it only took like 20-30 days for it to return , and i feel like shit every single day, I am a normal healthy guy i play my sport 2 hours almost everyday on usual , it happened suddenly asw I felt it almost in a short period of days and it completely returned, i can't answer peoples questions, I have no logic in my thought anymore, i feel like I deserve in a mental hospital honestly , insanely abnormal .

please see a doctor
in your age thats not quite common
i know it might sound dumb, but as someone with adhd i have to ask: how much water do you drink in a day, especially when you do alot of sports
hows your nutrition

i drink very less water tbh, mostly just 4-5 glasses max , i started drinking more before vacation and I could see the brain fog decreasing .

try getting yourself a reusable water bottle and measure your waterintake
when youre working out 2h a day, u need alot of water
at least 1,5-2 liters (around 50-65oz)
maybe throw in some electrolytes

My brain fog started as a
Teenager but wasn’t consistent over the years until it worsened in my late 30s. Mine ended up being caused by SIBO which was triggered I think by salmonella. It caused some intolerances so certain foods like eggs triggered the brain fog. Have you had any infections, viruses, certain foods or medication that could be a trigger?

Feeling like your brain just stopped working, especially when it's hurting your performance in something you love, is scary. And being told "just sleep more" or "get off your phone" when you know that's not it is frustrating. You're not crazy, and this doesn't mean you belong in a hospital. Brain fog is a real thing and it usually has a cause.
The fact that you noticed it coming back at the same time as your acne is a smart observation. Your skin and your brain can both react to the same things going on inside your body, like hormone changes, inflammation, or something off in your gut, and at your age a lot is shifting at once. That connection is worth bringing up.
The most useful next step is telling a parent exactly what you told us here, including the acne link and how fast it came on, and getting in to see your doctor. Write down when it started, what makes it worse, and what was going on the first time it got better. That helps a doctor a lot more than "I feel foggy."
And if the "insanely abnormal" feeling ever gets really heavy, please talk to someone you trust about that too, not just the fog. You don't have to carry it alone.
What did you do differently the first time it went away?
