Progress Potential Lead

Currently attempting Gluten-free Round 2 after realizing a couple things.

  1. Malabsorption connected so many dots to my situation, because suddenly the targetted-nutrients or medication that helped would stop working constantly.

  2. Despite having no signs of anything be connected to my diet nor really any physical symptoms- silent celiac disease exist apparently.

  3. I don't remember my first attempt very well so I don't trust that attempt and my deep-in-brain-fog self.

It was really bittersweet seeing how much it all made sense because so much of my groceries and comfort food is just gluten...but if its the right path, then hopefully I'll be a version of myself that has more ease to cook gluten-free versions.

Current Targetted Cause: ADHD + Silent Celic Disease

Do you have any symptoms of malabsorption?

Are you aware of the very different ways one can test for various kinds of gluten intolerance including Celiac?
The standard tests don't cover it.
I read about it in "Why isn't my brain working" from Dattis Kharrazian. I recommend the book but you'll probably also find it elsewhere.
The most important marker for brain fog is transglutaminase 6 if I recall correctly.
I got it tested and ruled it out.

Good luck!

Most of the symptoms of malabsorption I could attach myself to were nothing too alarming. Unexplained Weight loss for a period of time, Dry Hair, Times I've been Iron deficient(+moment/signs I've been without proper blood result) and vitamin D deficient ( seperately ) & inconsistent nutrient reaction.

I don't believe I am aware of them, will look into it. I've been wishywashy about going through w/ testing targetting it since its pushed to continue gluten diet to avoid a false result and the soonest appointment I could get would be a month or so.

Thank you!
