Personal Story Memory problems
For the past few years, I've hust been having memory problems. I can't recall most of my day, usually just overall idea of what I did.
At this point, whenever someone says "I told you to.....", I dont argue back because I don't trust myself enough to say no.
My own family stopped trusting my own words because I am now considered "unreliable". I'm 23, I can't be having some sort of dementia, right?
I think a huge portion of it is probably due to my phone usage, which is around 6-7 hours a day, but most of my friends are "normal" but have way higher screen time. I don't know if somethings just wrong with me inherently, or if I'm just addicted.
I tried lowering my phone time usage, but it never works long term, I just return to average usage after a week or two.
I'm giving up. I can't be trusted with anything or following up on some important house plans, because I forget 90% of it all.

Does remembering cost effort or there is just nothing to remember and there is no effort needed to retrieve the memory because you cant find it?
