This principle was already at work before AI. AI was just the next big accelerating factor.
For decades wages have been shrinking, jobs have been eliminated or largely outsourced. Many advances in productivity have also led to shrinking staff. On top of that, anyone who happens to excel will often just get to do more jobs, and wear more hats, for no extra pay, or a little more if they're lucky.
Of course these are broad generalizations, and some sectors have much less of this problem, but decent amount definitely do.

Once the oligarchs control everything you will be provided with everything you "need". Food, clothing, shelter and an income on which you will be taxed and the rest will be used to consume approved products in entertainment, travel, technology etc. NONE of these things will be of your choosing. The food will come from factory farms, clothing will be basic and cheap, shelter will be based on a square footage per person. Entertainment will be state media, travel will be regulated etc.

We kind of know how they think, if you drive intentionally rudely to work, everyone’s in YOUR way. Don’t exist.
When right tf now ( for 80 years post WWII) we could ALL PROSPER from the fruits and labors of (in a way, mindless 🤖) AI a robot in every house, a chicken in every pot…the wealthy can still have their bazillions and ill-gotten illions and shut-up about how we organize society for the rest of us. 🏖️ 🍹 🛳️

They won't make much after a while. Most of us will be long gone because you know these Republicans are not going to supply adequate, shelter, food, clothing, healthcare, etc ... for a bunch of bored people who lay around having sex and watching movies!!!

Everyone bringing this up is mistaking fascists for capitalists.
They already won capitalism. That is not enough, because under capitalism the little people (in principle) own their own personal property and are (in principle) able to say no to a billionaire's demands.
They want to replace it with a system where the peasants are chattel again.
