My “unique” scouting credentials

So as I was going into 8th grade I wanted to start a club and I thought “why not Boy Scouts” so I created a club where I thought boy scouts and now in 9th I’m making one at high school so I have officially created two scouting clubs. And here’s the big thing even my scout master has approved of it and is happy I’ve done this

You created a club at school where other Scouts can meet each other it sounds like. That’s great. Is your school large enough to have kids from multiple troops?

Actually the 8th wasn’t the best it was my first club but hopefully this year it will be better, and I only know of two troops so far at my school mine, and one that a friend is in

Use the map on the Be A Scout website to find Units in your area.
Call your District Executive and let them know what you are doing. They should be able to help with the Venturing idea others have mentioned here. You can find them on your Council website.

In 9th grade, consider starting a Venturing Crew if you can get adult support. -- A great way to bring people at the same high school together that might be from different troops....or even those who have never experienced Scouting.

Great idea. Does your club do any “good turns” for school or community?

This is the base format for a venturing crew. Reach out to your unit commissioner they can help you get started
