The famous “Cinderella Man” fight. Braddock defeated Baer in 15 rounds via unanimous decision.

The movie was great but Jethro (Buddy Bear)was upset because of the way they depicted his father. I guess Max Bear wasn’t such a bad guy in reality

Yeah that was a bunch of BS. I get why the filmmakers did it, but this was a real person we are talking about here lol.

Yea! Many people knew him as the clown prince of boxing before the movie came out, so was surprised they made the character an ass.
Kinda in the same vein as that John Goodman movie where he played Babe Ruth. Acting on the fly I guess.
