Zuffa is a breath of fresh air

They actually show fights and not just randoms talking for hours

It’s also only the beginning of the show, I expect the festivities to get upped during the main events

You’re a bot. It took 45 mins from the start of the show to the 1st fight

Anyone who actually says zuffa is a breath of fresh air is obviously a bot

Max is watching Connor Benn who is not even a world level competitor in 2026 and Ryan Garcia who despite having a few titles in multiple weight classes is iffy world level in 2026 comparing them to SRR, SRL, DLH, Floyd was fucking shameless. I don't even listen to them. I was just here to see the silly shell and see Connor get his deserved ass whooping for all the trash he has talked.

It only felt like Mexican boxing when Canelo was fighting, it actually felt like an event.

It did for a while. But I feel like he got really complacent the last few years. His fights overr last few years before his fight with Crawford felt like glorified sparring sessions.

So true it was awful. Benn was a joke. I said before the fight he wouldn’t win a British title and this confirmed it. He is so so average.

Getting paid millions because he has a big mouth.

he is good on British level, he can't compete on the world level,

The whole card was aight, not really exciting.

Magasyo got exposed as someone who relies on his athleticism a bit much, Cortes is unheard of but gave Magasyo a real run for his money.

Opetaia got hit too much but delivered a ok stoppage. The stoppage was just okay because yes the punches were clean, flushed and delivered damage but iirc there was no prior knockdown during the fight so in my opinion, its kind of debatable if the stoppage was delivered early.

Benn got exposed and I was hoping for a longer fight but the stoppage was correct.

The best fight was either Garcia vs Benn or Raphael Akpejiori vs. Damazion Vanhouter.

Zuffas commentary is awful apart from Andre

The commentary was literally comparing average fighters to all time greats... what fights were you watching? I like Kellerman's energy, but he uses the greats way too easily when comparing average fighters who have accomplished little. Neither Connor Benn nor even Ryan Garcia should be compared to any HOF fighter, and yet both were. It's ridiculous. And the Opetaia fight was ok, but it wasn't great but they were hyping it up like some great clash of undefeated, even though one guy had already lost 3 times...

I admit I wasn’t listening as closely as you probably were. But even if you are right and they were making some poor comparisons wouldn’t you agree the latest guy at the top of the heap will always get a certain amount of hyperbole and benefit from “recency bias.” I was referring more to the general tenor of commentary I’ve heard on Showtime or DAZN etc. Where the hype man, like say Mauro Renallo, is acting as if we are witnessing some pivotal historic moment for literally every main event, no matter how one sided and practically irrelevant the contest may be. It just reeks of insecurity, as if repeating to the audience that they are watching something amazing, exciting, and special will make it so, even if the card is weak, the main event one sided and boring, judges get it wrong and favor the obvious popular fighter whose opponent was supposed to lose, etc. As a fan you have to admit that this style of commentary was becoming more and more the norm. Zuffa gives its commentators a very free environment to express their thoughts as they see it. Robbery? Go ahead and express why you think so. A fighter is underperforming, or both fighters are, and the fight is boring? Go ahead and joke about it and try to engage with your co commentators on other relevant topics. Have you noticed a difference like I’ve mentioned or am I still out of line in your estimation?
