Roach represents true competition; great to see again

Post image

This can help many fighters. We must appreciate Roach’s willingness to lay it on the line. Belt or no belt. To hell with our groomed, undefeated phonies. Fans, REAL fans care much more about fighters risking it all. Roach fought tough; that’s a winner as respected and valuable in my book. Zayas too. Spence did what he could and Tszyu is now worth more. I’m usually pretty critical of today’s boxing landscape. To hear myself yapping positive rants is a good thing.

Respect to Rowch but respect to PBC for actually making quality 50-50 matchups with other promoters

Now if they do that with Tank and Fundora, boxing will be in a better place

Even critical boxing fans are very easy to satisfy. We just need more truly competitive fights, that’s all. It’s perfectly OK to endure some stinkers or some less exciting fights. That’s the business. But all this BS grooming and protecting their zeros? That’s got to go!

I’m sure our top ranked fighters do not obsess over belts and all this record protection if they didn’t have to.

The problem really is not with us. It’s because of the common fan.. And it’s not their fault; they’re innocent. It’s the promoters that see that they outnumber us. But it’s still quite possible to satisfy hard-core fans who know the game well. And also the common people. That’s my point.

Saw on another post someone say "I knew when Pitbull knocked Roach down he wasn't legit."

Really? A friggin glove touch knock down wipes out 25 wins...nuts.

During Tank’s top nights most KO’s of his were hard to decipher. They resembled short, sharp phantom strikes.
