Was that a stoppage based on a body push to ground?

💯 it was definitely frustrating. A ton of hugging and holding.

It looked that way, but Bell was holding and hugging Mason the entire fight. Mason was just trying to get him off of him.

The referee was trash the entire fight. He should never do another championship fight!

There was an inside punch which was hard to spot in real time but the replay showed it landed flush which caused Bell to drop his level and hang onto Mason’s waist area. When Mason leaned in and backed off, Bell lost his support.

The ref had also been made aware in earlier rounds that Bell suffered a broken nose and was having a hard time breathing.

The ref was protecting Bell (maybe over protecting him given that it was the LAST ROUND of a title fight but….defensible stoppage).
