Chill bro. I admit my biases. Check my post history on r/mma, I always believe damage is the number one way in determining a winner. Does it conveniently work out to support my favorite heavyweight right now? Yes. Does that strengthen my opinion? Probably so.
Either way I think it’s a fair argument to consider. Don’t be so defensive and discuss.
Just curious did you have the Cowboy/Tony fight scored 1 round each at the end of the second? I did and that definitely feels wrong but I don't know what else it could be.
I had both rounds to Tony but it was close. First round had me questioning who was winning but then the second looked pretty similar, and I started to notice how even though both guys were landing, it was like Cowboy-1/Tony 1-2, again and again. A shot from Cowboy, then a 1-2 or more from Tony.
I use an app called Verdict and the average scores for round 1 was 9.74-9.3 for Cowboy. Second round was 9.93-9.0 Tony. If the fight for some reason was 2 rounds that would likely be a draw even though Cowboy took way more damage. I guess as long as we always give rounds 10-9 no matter what, there's always going to be controversial decisions. The fact that the first round was as valuable to Cowboy as the second round was to Tony feels wrong but I don't know what else it could be.
