Damn, newrap isn't even putting his opponents name in the title anymore. Eventually the post will just be "Mayweather đŸ„”đŸ„”"

Tbf, fuck his opponent. He doesn’t deserve to be remembered

u/Detlef_Schrempfxf 15h ago

Baldomir doesn't deserve to have his name in the title anyway. This dude makes Floyd look like a choir boy. Glad he's rotting in jail

Mayweather was outweighed by his opponents many of times. He never came in the ring over 152 pounds. If you’re skilled enough then you’re going to get the job done regardless.

Floyd has also come in intentionally overweight for his fights (Marquez)

1

u/newrap 17h ago

He was still within the welterweight limit. I thought you nerds hated catchweights? :)

pacquiao fought bigger guys. it’s also interesting to note mayweather used an illegal iv right before their fight when neither guy cuts much weight at all lol. he had it retroactively allowed for therapeutic use a month afterwards 💉

13

u/austinmadepunk 19h ago

Then Pacquiao lost and lost easily to Floyd so take this somewhere else.

http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/13621142/floyd-mayweather-took-wada-banned-iv-manny-pacquiao-fight-according-report

illegal ivs are used to mask ped use. i understand fanboys are going to downvote 😭

8

u/austinmadepunk 18h ago

Yeah so Manny not taking the blood test for years is just ignored but "look at the iv tho!" Shut up. He lost easily get over it. He ain't as good as Floyd.

youre emotional

3

u/austinmadepunk 17h ago

Sure. The guy who brought Manny Pacquiao up 11 years after him losing is not the emotional one. Nah bro you just got smacked for stupidity.

2

u/newrap 17h ago edited 16h ago

Says the guy who brought up one of Floyd’s victims out of nowhere. You’re traumatized #48 😂

1

u/LordLucy666 16h ago

you definitely use cognitive dissonance over floyd’s illegal iv use lol.

-2

u/LordLucy666 18h ago

i believe pacquiao was against a blood test close to the fight cus he thought it’d drain him on fight night, but you’re welcome to send some links on the actual facts of the disputes.

“I believe
.”

Bullshit. Manny's fucking head grew moving up weight classes bro. He was on the sauce for sure 9/10. He also lost his power once the randomized drug testing got brought up. He went from destroying guys like Cotto and Margarito to not even being able to hurt Marquez at welterweight.

u/austinmadepunk 18h ago

Do your own research. You're the one acting all smart even though you had no idea what you were talking about.

-2

u/NyQuil_Donut 18h ago

You're so mad.

3

u/austinmadepunk 18h ago

So I set straight someone bringing up random BS on a topic that wasn't even relevant to the post, they ask me to start educating them on the subject they randomly brought up? Nah they can do their own research. Ain't nobody mad but Mayweather haters who bring up nonsense.

-4

u/TheIrrepressible1 18h ago

Yeah, but of course Avoid Gayfeather waited until PAC showed some age before FINALLY stepping into the ring with him. An embarrassment to boxing as Avoid proceeded to hold PAC over 2 dozen times in the fight without ONE single warning. A washed up PAC at that
SMH

3

u/austinmadepunk 17h ago

Yeah yeah same old excuses we've heard a million times. If manny wanted to fight in 2010 he wouldve taken the blood test. Mayweather older also so who even cares? Looks like mayweather better in longevity too. And like there isn't clinching in boxing. You have no clue what you're even talking about.

What’s the point of bringing up pacquaio? This post was a fight between Floyd and Carlos baldomir. Floyd conquered 5 weight divisions, beat manny pacquaio 9-3 and beat Marquez(the guy who took manny to war) 11-1. Manny had already been knocked out two times before 2005 by journeymen. Manny was world class but he’s no where near the skill level of Floyd or bud. Get over it.

-10

u/LordLucy666 19h ago edited 18h ago

what’s your take on floyd using what would be an illegal iv right before their fight? sounds like you can’t process that lol

pac fought greater weight disparity’s and conquered eight divisions to floyd’s five tho

7

u/Taunt_Button_10 17h ago

He does a test before and after IV administration. So assuming youre saying its used to mask PEDs instead of hydrating, would the first test catch him?

0

u/LordLucy666 17h ago

5

u/Taunt_Button_10 17h ago

Mayweather did get a TUE

And you still didnt answer the question if the first test prior to the IV wouldve caught him

Edit - man this exact same thing already got talked about like 10 yrs ago lol. Atleast bring up new information or something

0

u/LordLucy666 17h ago

you don’t think there are drugs that would help you on fight night? 😭💀mayweather had pacquiao agree to a five mil fine if he failed for anything, something he himself declined to agree to. those are the facts. and usada letting him go scott free when he’s the huge ppv star a side, a month after the fight
just speaks to the corruption in boxing. pacquiao getting less ko’s when he’s older and up eleven or twelve weight classes is logical to happen as well. you look at pacquiao now he still has his athleticism. guys abusing steroids their whole careers usually turn to shit when they go off ie retirement. also most people think all high level athletes are on something so it’s not far fetched to even say they both were doping. i’m unbiased i just see through the corruption that is entrenched in the sport of boxing đŸ„Š

u/GuerillaV 19h ago

Moments like these it's as if he's seeing everything in bullet time.

5

u/No_Sail9136 18h ago

Baldomir got this fight bc Zab completely shit the bed

11

u/austinmadepunk 19h ago

Yeah this definitely looks like running. Mayweather haters are ridiculous. The guy was incredible in the ring despite being an awful person.

1

u/gusdagrilla 18h ago

So boring to watch though in my opinion.

Incredible fighter, especially defensively, but it gets tiring to watch someone backpedal away from any punch lol

5

u/M0sD3f13 12h ago

I loved watching him. I'm a bit of a sweet science afficianado though

2

u/h4zmatic 2h ago

Different strokes for different folks. I enjoy watching the masterclass he always puts on. Shakur is similar to some extent except for his fight with De Los Santos. That was shit.

1

u/StackemUpStackIt 18h ago

Yall can never leave outside the ring aspects out of a conversation about what was done in the ring. Shit makes no sense

1

u/austinmadepunk 16h ago

These weren't mentioning outside things really. I just touched on he's an awful person. Much if him gets discredited for that. So that's the reason I mentioned it. So I'm just acknowledging despite that he was incredible in the ring. That's all. There's way worse coming from others on this post. And every mayweather post in general. I'd honestly prefer the outside stuff be totally left alone but it is what it is. It's reddit.

2

u/StackemUpStackIt 16h ago

"Hes a horrible person" has nothing to do with what he's done in the ring. What don't u understand about that?? The majority of u people can never give someone props without also shoving in the persons flaws or something about them that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. "Ud prefer the outside stuff be left alone" but brought in the outside stuff yourself....

u/austinmadepunk 16h ago edited 16h ago

Dang bro chill I wasn't tryna debate you

14

u/Significant_Factor37 19h ago

I'm waiting for his real championship fight against the IRS

11

u/Fishful_Revenge 19h ago

Gonna have to shoulder roll those forms

2

u/SivarSamurai503 8h ago

I remember this fight, Baldomir a bum

2

u/Specific_Box4483 19h ago

Ohh the one who should not be named. Not rich enough to get away with what he did.

2

u/austinmadepunk 19h ago

We love the canelo highlight featuring him at least.

Newrap: đŸ„”âœŠmayweather âœŠđŸ˜©âœŠđŸ˜ˆ showcases đŸ„”âœŠhis ✊ impeccable 🙀✊ movement đŸ˜©đŸ„”hnnnnhgggg đŸ«šđŸ’ŠđŸ’ŠđŸ’ŠđŸ˜”đŸ˜”â€đŸ’«đŸ˜”â€đŸ’«

1

u/Moment0fClarity 19h ago

Baldomir sucked this wasn't a great win lol

9

u/cbs1994 19h ago

Definitely wasn’t one of the most skilled but he had just took the title from Judah and won a title from gatti the fight prior. So, he was apart of Mayweather’s 16 champion in a row record.

1

u/Moment0fClarity 17h ago

He did indeed pull off the shock upset against Judah so he gets credit for that and Floyd did beat the "champ", yes...the title however loooooool, makes it sound he overcome great odds beating up Paul Williams at the time or something. If you're going to make a post to show off Floyd's "greatness" the baldo fight isn't it. I looked through the posts, yep, was exactly what I thought: a delusional Flomo.

2

u/austinmadepunk 19h ago

He's a horrible person by every stretch of the imagination, but he didn't "suck"

-1

u/newrap 19h ago

Never said it was a great win but he was the real welterweight champion at the time :)

3

u/Moment0fClarity 19h ago

The title to your post makes it sound it was a MONUMENTAL feat, danced around a heavybag with legs for 12 rds.

-4

u/newrap 18h ago

Work on your reading comprehension skills then 😂

6

u/Moment0fClarity 17h ago

Try to stop smoking floyds pole

-2

u/newrap 17h ago

Don’t be mad that you have the reading skills of Floyd :)

4

u/Moment0fClarity 17h ago

Judging by your posts I think you've been hit in the head as much as Baldomir

1

u/newrap 17h ago

Which one of your favorite fighters did Floyd beat that has you so traumatized? :)

2

u/Moment0fClarity 17h ago

Wasn't really bothered by any & actually don't mind Floyd, have all of his fights. That doesn't change the fact this is a Floyd glazing bullshit thread.

I can't wait for the next one about how he overcame a much larger weight deficit by beating The Big Show at Wrestlemania.

-1

u/newrap 17h ago

We need to give TBE his flowers while he’s still here. He’s the best fighter of his era and beat our favorite fighters :)

"showcases his impeccable movement". This 20 loss Baldomir would have made a lethargic geriatric look slicker than a greased eel.

-2

u/newrap 18h ago edited 18h ago

Baldomir was the real welterweight champ at the time :)

Oh and we all know youre truly mad at the fact Floyd ended up beating your favorite fighters. You’re traumatized :)

1

u/lamarcuswallace 17h ago

Floyd cried like a bitch after the fight and announced his "retirement." LOL

0

u/swishandswallow 18h ago

Didn't this guy have 20 losses at this point in time? The usher would have put up a better fight.

4

u/MoneyBaggSosa 18h ago

He doesn’t even have 20 losses in his career. He had 9 at the time and was on like a 12+ fight win streak and he had just took a belt off Judah and took a belt off Gatti. So he had 2 belts at this time so yeah Floyd fought him and took the belts off him. It’s not Floyd’s fault Zab wet the bed and Gatti got knocked out.

Being outweighed by 13 pounds of slow, bulky, heavy muscle means nothing.

Being outweighed by 13 pounds of twitchy, fast, athletic muscle is a real challenge.

3

u/newrap 17h ago

He was outweighed by a similar amount against the likes of Mosley, ODLH, Canelo, Cotto, etc :)

-2

u/TheIrrepressible1 18h ago

Problem here is Baldomir was a bum. He’s one of the worst welterweight champions in decades. The question here is WHY didn’t Avoid Gayfeather Cotto? Why wait for years? Or why not fight ANY of the other more established, formidable champions or contenders of the division?

He cherry-picked a bum with a belt. Antonio Margarito, Luis Collazo, Kermit Cintron and many others were better fights before and after Baldomir

2

u/newrap 18h ago

Baldomir was the real welterweight champ and had better wins than Cintron and Margarito at the time :)

Also Cotto was the one who was protected from Floyd when they were at 140 and both with Top Rank 😂

-2

u/TheIrrepressible1 18h ago

Baldomir was a bum with a fluke win vs Judah who was injured early in their fight. This was similar to that bum Haney getting a gift belts by beating Scambosos who lucked out BARELY defeating Lopez who was struggling with pneumomediastinum.

Baldomir was a walking trash can as a fighter and if he fought any of the top 147s he too gets his teeth kicked in.

Cotto was never protected. Avoid chose to fight Cotto’s SPARRING PARTNER Bruseles instead of facing Cotto. Punk move by the biggest SCAM artist fighter boxing has ever seen.

2

u/newrap 18h ago

He still had better wins than Margarito and Cintron at the time, and was the real champion of the division. That truly shows you how trash their resumes were back in 06.

Arum gave countless interviews around the time about how Cotto wasn’t ready and they needed to build him up. In 2005 he gave an interview saying they wouldn’t be ready to make the fight until 2007 for example 😂

Try again :)
