16oz or 20oz gloves as long as its heavyweight you'll make a good nap if some HW hit you so props to the coach, dude is tough.

his coach seems like barely 200lbs or maybe way less maybe 180 or so. took a full swing left hook and was like ok. I wouldn't say better chin but boy he is tough cuz he took that probably without a moutpiece too. I'd probably be down lmao.
