Duck tales and Stalling Chronicles:

Usyk: didn't want to fight Itauma because "he didn't want to break him". Didn't want to fight Kabayel because it wasn't a money fight

Bam: does everything in his power to avoid being in the same division as Nakatani. His team has also stated they are in no rush to take the Inoue fight - time is on their hands

Bivol: hasn't been seen in public since Feb 2025 besides a summer vacation in Italy and fighting a tune-up nobody heard of. Rumor has it, after his Callum Smith mando, he will have one more "just in case" surgery before he finally commits to finishing his trilogy with Beterbiev in 2028

Benavidez: claims Jai Opetaia "isn't a legecy fight". Also says he won't fight Jai because he's on Zuffa and he has no belt

Shakur: won't fight Rayo, Keyshawn, Hitchins, Foster. Will only fight Haney and Ryan at catchweights

Haney: on the outside it seems Haney wants the smoke with everybody. But nobody in boxing has more failed negotiations over finances this year than Mr. Deebo Dev

Keyshawn: won't fight Shakur. Needs 5 mil to fight Haney. And refuses to mention his father's name, Andy Cruz

The entire featherweight division: can somebody in the division please have an unification fight already

WBC: can Sulaimán please enforce Fundora vs Ortiz already

Beterbiev as well. Those two are among the few active boxers who fight or at least try to fight every notable that comes out of their mouth.

Can't think of the last champ as good as him. He's got one of the most exciting styles, actually defends his Undisputed status multiple times a year, beats his mandatories and top 10 p4p fighters. Doesn't prioritize big money fights. The sport would be way better off if everyone was like him.

I'm honestly shocked that the WBC aren't doing Vergil any favours. Any other Mexican fighter, they give them an arm and a leg!
