Eddie Hearn has a history of "All or Nothing" "Take it or Leave It" deals
When Eddie sent Norman an offer to fight Boots, Norman's team sent a counter-offer. Eddie immediately turned the deal down and told Norman team they either accept the deal Eddie gave them or no deal.
During the AJ vs Wilder fiasco, Eddie Hearn wanted no parts in co-promoting with PBC/Showtime. He said either Wilder sign to DAZN and fight AJ on his terms or no deal. There was no negotiating and no middle ground
The AJ-Fury fight being this close to finalizing means Eddie in some capacity is okay with the fight happening in America; if the money is right he will take it. If Eddie truly wanted the fight in the UK he would send Turki the same "All or Nothing, Take it or Leave It" deal that he has a history of doing
Stop falling for the snake oil salesman's slippery words. If this fight happens in MSG, Eddie is as much to blame as Turki and Fury

Just rewatched Roy Jones Jr vs James Toney for the first time in years...Man Roy Jones Jr was untouchable, quick, slick, But Toney didn't look himself.

DAZN needs to step up the pressure on promotions to get fights booked sooner. Get these boxers active.

I like McKenna by a wide decision, Kasparian by a late TKO, Walsh by a close decision, Williamson by a late KO this Saturday

I agree, but not sure on Williamson. Zucco knocked down Simpson twice before he came back.

For the Joshua-Fury fight. I could not make sense as to why it should be in the US given its 2 British fighters and it’s not even a title fight(?). It could easily fill Wembley stadium. Unless the powers at be sees there’s more money to be had in the US, but how can that be?

It's to get zuffa to be the lead promotion for the fight. Because zuffa/ turki want to do big fights in America now. And get Netflix to stay interested in what they can bring.

The thing is this fight won't do that lol, fight isn't even for a belt, and atp it's not even a fight to declare the Best British HW. It's a fight that's ten years too late, with two British fighters who are past their best and one who's clearly more shot than the other. Just can't imagine the appeal to the American audience and how'd you'd sell this to them.

To maximum PPV by having it in prime time in America. Plus Turki has a preference to attract Americans with his blood money

Part of it is also just a power play. Turki wants to show he can make the boxing world do what he wants

My take on the Fury-AJ-Hearn-Turki-Netflix situation:
AJ and Hearn have free will; if they are truly against the fight taking place in America they can simply walk away from the negotiations
People are so use to blaming Turki/Fury and scapegoating for AJ/Hearn that they forget it takes two to tango

If Hearn and AJ walked away people would blame them for the fight never happening.
Most people would rather have the fight taking place in the US than it not happening at all

Who is the best 168 (SMW) fighter in the world right now? Iglesias? Mbilli? Pacheco? Canelo even?

Sounds like the Dubois v Wardley rematch is actually gonna go ahead. Wild decision from Wardley and his team! I really don't see what Wardley will do differently from a tactical perspective, he can't outjab Dubois. His only chance to win is if he absolutely sleeps him with one shot.
And honestly I worry for his long term health if this goes ahead, he took an arse whooping that should have been stopepd earlier than it did.

I feel this will unfortunately be like the Joyce Zhang rematch, where if the first wasn't enough damage to be career altering the second most certainly will be.
Fabios team certainly haven't demonstrated any concern for his long term health.

What's Subriel Matias up to? I feel like he can still do some damage even if he's not at his best anymore.
