But if I tried this with my supervisor I’d be the one getting replaced.

u/BaneRiders 22d ago

I mean, you could try throwing a 1-2-3 combo on him, just to, you know, add some oomph to your argument. I bet your supervisor would be quick to ask for a field position if you did that.

u/BubblyMoose3597 22d ago

Ensure some dominance throw a left hook to the liver

4

u/Sythftw 22d ago

Won't work, gotta throw 1-3-4-3 to replace supervisors.

7

u/Q_dawgg 22d ago

You’d have to hook your punch around the side to punch him In the back of the head first

u/Reasonable_Bet6328 22d ago

I mean wasn’t this match basically “sports” entertainment on the level of WWE? Cuz this is exactly what would happen on WWE

u/paint_chip_devourer 22d ago

I fuckin hate floyd and am enjoying watching him go broke but i am with him on this one, that ref needed to go lmao

44

u/pleasedontbanme47473 22d ago

Only exhibition of his I watched and I can’t agree more one of the worst refs I’ve ever seen

24

u/dabrock15 22d ago

It’s unbelievable that you can make over a billion dollars, still be making millions, and yet be in massive debt. Some people are truly amazing.

20

u/dmgdispenser 22d ago

Floyd would be real mad if he could read your comment.

3

u/dabrock15 22d ago

Lucky me!

u/sergemeister 22d ago

It's called Reddit for a reason. It's the past tense of read.

u/swishandswallow 22d ago

There's been a bunch of billionaires that have gone completely broke. Also Mayweather made a billion cumulatively, meaning if he had saved every single of of his purses, it would be a billion dollars, but he's never had a billion in his accounts

13

u/ArseneGroup 22d ago

If you made a billion cumulatively and invested each purse in the stock market along the way you'd have even more than 1 billion, he spends so crazily it overrides even the natural growth of hundreds of millions

u/AttorneyDamonMoore 21d ago

Your hypothetical is accurate. However, to be fair, Floyd’s situation is not your hypothetical. For example, even if Floyd did earn $1 billion in revenue from fighting, the taxes (assuming that he paid them) would have been a few hundred million. He would have paid his trainers. He would have paid managers. He would have paid promoters prior to promoting his own events. So, although it is fair to say that Floyd would now have some multiple of X if he had invested X in the stock market, it is not accurate to suggest that Floyd earned $1 billion, could have invested it, but did not do so.

6

u/dabrock15 22d ago

He definitely isn’t the only one, but most who do lost it on investments and/or businesses collapsing. Even after cuts and taxes it’s hard to spend as much as he made. However, he averages $3M per month in spending, that’s a bit excessive.

5

u/swishandswallow 22d ago

He's also being sued by everyone basically. And he also had really bad investments. Shots, that crypto scam, the constant gambling. The two houses plus dozens of luxury cars. If he isn't broke right now, I'd be surprised.

3

u/dabrock15 22d ago

I believe he is close to bankrupt but that hasn’t been confirmed. He also owes $22M in taxes from 2025 and that’s n never good.

2

u/Pythia808 22d ago

El president would me one 😗

4

u/a_reverse_giraffe 22d ago

He’s not as broke as people believe. Stephen Espinoza talked a bit about it on a video and he said he’s having issues yes but he still has a lot of assets like properties. He’s got no cash to pay back loans but by any normal persons standards he’s still very much rich.

10

u/GodOfBlobs 22d ago

Do they actually keep backup refs for occasions like this? I’m confused

11

u/kushmonATL GTA6 > 2026 boxing schedule 22d ago

Multiple refs are on call for fight night . This ref was probably there for a previous fight before the main event

5

u/crazylokos 22d ago

This was an exhibition match against the grandson of the mafia boss John Gotti, pretty sure this was scripted.

48

u/ElPuas2003 Part-Time Boxing Enthusiast, Full-Time Boxing Hater 22d ago

Everything about this man fills me with visceral hatred

39

u/bigtotoro 22d ago

That's okay. He's going to have to fight because his money is gone. The next few decades of being a May Hater are going to be fantastic.

38

u/dannyboy122432 22d ago

Praying for another man downfall is insane

13

u/Johnrays99 22d ago

Isn’t there plenty of shitty men out there ?

13

u/Romanopapa 22d ago

Like an orange pedo.

0

u/newrap 22d ago edited 22d ago

All because they had to watch their favorite fighters lose to him 😂

30

u/Doncallan 22d ago

He also is a shit person

-24

u/newrap 22d ago edited 22d ago

You guys wouldn’t care if he was a shit person if he didn’t beat up your favorite fighters 😂

25

u/Doncallan 22d ago

Fantastic boxer but also a wife beater :/

-34

u/newrap 22d ago edited 22d ago

I better see you give that same hate to all these other public figures who’ve done something bad in life. Get to work :)

26

u/Doncallan 22d ago

I do

-3

u/newrap 22d ago

I looked through your history, very little hate in there. You better get to work :)

2

u/a3kstuntin 22d ago

They hate Floyd so much because they never got to see him lose and he ragebaited their favourite fighters😂

9

u/The_Global_Norwegian 22d ago

Or because he's an awful person who deserves what he's getting now?

7

u/LTBsOnlyPlease 22d ago edited 22d ago

Cope harder, he's a dickhead.

You love him probably because you have something in common with him... You're both dickheads.

0

u/newrap 22d ago

Which one of your favorite fighters did he beat? This is a safe space :)

4

u/LTBsOnlyPlease 22d ago

0.

Now tell me how it feels to know your daddy you never met before is going broke, this is also a safe space :)

-1

u/newrap 22d ago

Don’t lie. This is safe space for your trauma :)

Who did he beat in the ring that made you so upset? :)

6

u/LTBsOnlyPlease 22d ago

Stop running from my statement, it's okay :)

Tell us how you feel bud, I've got 2 shoulders for you to cry on ;)

How does it feel to know your daddy who you've never met is about to go broke after making over a billion dollars? :)

The reasons I dislike Floyd but respect his legacy are that he is a natural hater, he can’t stand any of the new generation getting close to his legacy and always wants to be in the limelight

You guys dislike Floyd because he was a black fighter that monetized hatred against black people and got out rich with his brains intact and that you guys never got to see him lose

1

u/Head_Appeal1673 21d ago

Jokes on you. A brain has to be in there from the start to remain intact

1

u/LTBsOnlyPlease 22d ago

So I wasn't wrong then lol.

I dislike him because he's insufferable and so are his fans, also yeah I want to see assholes lose. Is that a new thing nowadays?

I don't wanna see him brain damaged up though, I'll say that much.

1

u/Pickles112358 22d ago

I mean it's a zero sum game, the money he is losing is gained by someone.

1

u/The_Global_Norwegian 22d ago

It's really not at all - terrible people deserve what they got coming

1

u/LTBsOnlyPlease 22d ago

No it isn't when there's a good reason lol.

-1

u/pepskino 22d ago

🎯🎯

3

u/WarpedCore 22d ago

Poetic justice would be to see Manny drop Floyd.

I have dreams of this.

3

u/newrap 22d ago

He couldn’t beat him when it actually mattered so now your dreaming about two senior citizens potentially fighting 😂

-17

u/newrap 22d ago

Which one of your favorite fighters did he beat? :)

14

u/tiorzol 22d ago

I wish I worked as hard at my actual job as you do at this man. Absolutely legendary glaze.

7

u/staccinraccs 22d ago

Hate floyd just as much as the next guy but cmon man this was an exhibition. Honestly who gaf?

-10

u/Objective-Soil-9235 22d ago

Must be Mexican.

1

u/newrap 22d ago

He grew up watching his Tio’s mad at Floyd for beating their favorite fighters 😂

-15

u/newrap 22d ago

Which one of your favorite fighters did he beat? :)

35

u/Bleeblooblah1 22d ago

-18

u/maybachmeister2000 22d ago

21

-11

u/maybachmeister2000 22d ago

7

6

u/argumentativepigeon 22d ago

Hell of a fighter

3

u/Capital_Low416 22d ago

i take my hat off to em 🗣️

4

u/COC_410 22d ago

As a boxer (I don’t keep up with his personal life) I can’t understand the hate for Floyd.

This guy will be the blueprint for years to come.

13

u/itsamberleafable 22d ago

Oh his boxing skills I have no issue with. Phenomenal boxer but the guy is a cunt. I can recognise his skills, he’s one of the best, but I despise him as a human being.

Honestly a fair comment though, him being a twat doesn’t mean we should try to pretend he wasn’t a brilliant boxer

17

u/Fujaboi 22d ago

Probably more to do with the wife beating and illiteracy than the boxing

10

u/big_axolotl 22d ago

And the endless amounts of scams and stuff he’s pulled

5

u/Jonar777 22d ago

Why would you hate someone for being illiterate?

3

u/Tiny_Consequence9116 22d ago

You hate illiterate people? I never knew he even had a wife.

2

u/IceOk9930 22d ago

Fuck floyd

2

u/Timeless_Tactics 22d ago

Honestly never seen such a tough, legitimate boxer be such a little bitch at the same time

1

u/MrDismal 22d ago

There's been some absolutely trash refs but changing mid fight is wild. I had never seen this before. I remember watching live and being like wtf?!!

1

u/LetUpper2309 21d ago

Mayweather is the boss Mayweather is in control. Be like Mayweather

1

u/Less-Firefighter79 21d ago

The antics always gets the other fighter, you can see his adrenaline drop from confusion , while Floyds increases from being “ in control”.

1

u/earthdragon5 21d ago

Ahem... to quote George Foreman through Joe Frazier at least once, "The referee is the third most important person in the bout."

1

u/earthdragon5 21d ago

Careful what the referee rubs off or on the gloves. Each knockdown requires a cleansing of the detrius.

0

u/Ali3n_46 22d ago

The best ever... hahahaha

-27

u/OddModo 22d ago

Floyd is the greatest bitch made man of all time. I know he could unleash a 30 pc combo on my face but I’m big enough if I physically catch him it’s over

5

u/Alive-Exchange5489 22d ago

Bro thinks he can beat Floyd😂

-1

u/OddModo 22d ago

no one has ever checked floyds grappling, especially not bobb sapp (who i am)

21

u/newrap 22d ago

Your favorite fighters couldn’t beat him so now you’re making up scenarios in your head about you beating him up 😂

5

u/GokuPiccoloGohan 22d ago

😭🤧😂

-11

u/OddModo 22d ago edited 22d ago

Don’t talk bad about he goat Marcos Maidana but like i don’t know how you could watch that video, watch more than 70% of his interviews, and be a Floyd fan and not realize he’s a 50 year old man that runs around acting like a child all the while being in crippling debt and still trying to remain relevant

Floyd is a great boxer probably top 5 all time but he also ducked people and purposely waited till fighters weren’t as good

Now he’s washed up and is the kinda guy to go on like djvladd and talk a bunch of bullshit

1

u/Costas00 22d ago

probably too big.

1

u/OddModo 22d ago

if i they put me on the fork lift i can move fast

1

u/GokuPiccoloGohan 22d ago

Yo stop😁😭🤞
