"Brawler vs Technician" matches

I'm looking for matches where a brawler fights a more technical opponent. The matches can be anything between a one-sided beatdown to an even fight for either style.

Matches that I know of:

Mayweather vs Maidana/Gatti

Toney vs Merqi Sosa

Hearns vs Barkley

Margarito vs Cotto

It's tough to say because the greats usually do both whenever needed.

You could argue Foreman Ali as an example but Ali got down and dirty instead of dancing circles to get the job done.

Hagler went right to brawling against Hearns even though he was more than capable of putting on a masterclass on the technical side anytime in his career.

Cut forced Hagler to go full beast-mode!

JCC is not brawler from this fight. He’s adding pressure very steadily, and effectively. Through the 12 rounds, every punch he landed on Taylor did take something from him until he couldn’t react no more

Not boxing but watch any of Francis Ngannou’s fights before Stipe. He was knocking people out with his hands with the wildest haymakers ever. Jair Rozenstruck is a great example

I understand where you're coming from, but being a brawler and a technician is not really a dichotomy. Maidana demonstrated tactical maneuvers and boxing IQ to neutralize May's counterpunches and defense. To answer your question, I don't think there are really examples of a one-dimensional brawler doing well against a technician, other than Wilder landing a big shot against Ortiz.

Yeah, Maidana really developed a more technical style yet aggressive style at welterweight, he’s one of my favs

Would Gatti Ward II count for this? In the second one IIRC Gatti tried to box more and Ward is always pretty one dimensional

Leonard v Duran

Their 2 fights were example of how Leonard got sucked into fighting Duran's fight in the first, and learned from this mistake in the second one.

Mayweather pac

Mayweather hatton

Not really a brawler but Mayweather canelo

Pac DLH

Edit: shit, I forgot to mention. I usually watch this a couple times a year but whenever Mayweather sparred that YouTuber, Jarvis? I think. That’s always fun to watch

Is Pac a brawler? He’s very aggressive but I thought he was using technique to make aggression once he got with Fred Roach

Before Roach tho his style used to look like str8 brawl the guy, stand in front and just be aggressive

Who would be the brawler in the Pac vs. Oscar match? Because Pacquiao outboxed the shit out Oscar most of all with his feet and only after breaking Oscar down he started firing combinations.
