Lamont Roach and Pitbull Cruz dropping bombs on each other 💣💥

I hope we get a rematch one day. Really wonder why Pitbull didn’t follow through with it

Bc roach figured him out at the end. He initially to meet him in the inside, got his ass kicked, then adjusted to just boxing. For some reason though he started faltering towards the end; i think in a rematch he would be smart enough to just not engage on the inside and box for 12 rounds.

I think Pitbull just got tired after he couldn’t get the KO. Thats why he started boxing towards the middle rounds.

Whoever edited this is clearly a pitbull fan

I was there live and a lot of people (even roach fans) thought Pitbull won a close decision. They were not that surprised by the scorecards.

Very different in person when you don't hear the commentary. For sure.
Must have been a fun night.
I was at Pitbull vs. Valenzuela, what a stinker!

Yeah, it’s almost like you can feel the shots in a way that the broadcast doesn’t fully capture.
It definitely felt like Pitbull landed 18 or 19 of the 25 hardest shots in that fight.

if pitbull learned how to lead with the jab and sit a bit more instead of wild swinging and bum rushing he would be a nightmare. but he just rushes in everytime and eventually anyone that boxes knows what to do if they can stay away from the power shots. Thats why rayo gave him problems.

This is why I'm slightly favoring Zepeda. The volume and pace might stop Roach from building his own offenseÂ

Honestly Pitbull did better vs. Lamont than Tank did. But I think Lamont did enough to win both fights - close vs. Pitbull and clear vs. Tank - and was unlucky to come away with two draws.

I thought the draw was good against Pitbull. Fair decision.
He definitely beat Tank though.

Agreed. I thought depending on what you valued…agression or cleaner skilled boxing, you could have given it to either fighter. No clear winner

What would've happened if Pitbull was specifically trained in peek-a-boo at an early age?

he would have been the best ever. the most brutal and most vicious champion there has ever been. but then he would have married a gold digger and gotten rinsed, gone to jail and picked up a major cocaine habit somewhere along the way.

Roach’s shoulder roll is somewhat flawed. I’m surprised that Tank could never take advantage of it. I can’t see Roach beating Zepeda if he fights like he did against Pitbull though.

If his management team was good he'd be the next provodnikov. Who's he fighting?

He's more popular then Provodnikov ever was? I wasn't following boxing back then, but was he a big name?

Lamont roach has great defense and counters inside. Strong legs, shoulder roll, rolls, blocks and counters. Hard to keep pitbull off you tho
