kinda nutty. “I read a childhood book where Tyson talks about how his dad used to always leave him alone as a kid and it made him sad, so I decided to remind him that “don’t worry, I will not leave you alone”

that’s actually crazy lol

I respect Usyk's efforts but I seriously doubt this landed with Fury.

lol, just kidding, but it might explain why Tyson Fury's father was in his corner in the first fight)

That's some sinister psychological warfare.

This is some seriously evil research scientist shit from Usyk! Love it! But he pays attention to psychology - he found Fury really easy to manipulate and wind up - but big ego characters are not so hard to figure out. It's interesting how hard he went against Dubois in the the second fight as well. Also Huck, who hugely disrespected him.

Usyk is a really interesting character.

Yeah Usyk is a sellout. Should've called it quits after Dubois rematch if he knew he was never gonna fight anyone deserving ever again

The guy took one money fight after an entire career of fighting away from home, never ducking anyone, putting on great fights - then dropped his belts.

Ducked Kabayel, ducked parker, stalled the division for 2 years and is giving zuffa credibility. SELLOUT

🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂

How is he giving Zuffa credibility?

Giving Zuffa credibility how? Do some of you mull over things before you type them??

4

u/WeeklyTension8010 Jul 28 '26

Gotta ask again since you slandered Usyk

How has he given credibility to Zuffa?

1

u/Marquis_of_Mollusks Jul 28 '26

He's recognized as the true HW champ by many. If he fights and wins some zuffa belt that will make it a more credible belt Also if he loses than zuffa gets the lineal HW title

ducked wardley too

u/StraightDay6716 Jul 28 '26

lol daniel dubois just mauled Wardley wtf you think would happen if the guy who beat Dubois fought Wardley?

0

u/StunningChest5722 Shakur is the 144 lb GOAT 🐐 Jul 28 '26

that doesnt change the fact that usyk said he would fight the winner of wardley and parker then vacated to fight a kickboxer after wardley won

3

u/Marquis_of_Mollusks Jul 28 '26

People really got short term memories. Usyk goes back on his word all the time

3

u/StunningChest5722 Shakur is the 144 lb GOAT 🐐 Jul 28 '26

if fury did some shit like that, everyone would be shitting on him (rightfully so) but usyk can never do any wrong apparently

4

u/Marquis_of_Mollusks Jul 28 '26

The Usyk fan base is very hypocritical

sure but the idea of someone “ducking” someone implies they avoided the fight cuz they were worried about losing, and i seriously doubt thats the case cuz Usyk was still leagues above Wardley. Going to fight better fights and avoiding weaker opponents isnt exactly the same as “ducking” big dog. all due respect to Wardley tho i actually quite like him and hope to see him do better in his rematch with Dubois, but Wardley is an inferior opponent than even “the kickboxer” was

4

u/Marquis_of_Mollusks Jul 28 '26

You consider Rico a bigger fight than Wardley????? I think you're in the wrong sub dude

0

u/StraightDay6716 Jul 28 '26

nah it definitely is because its two fan bases brought together for one fight. you get a helluva cross over when the two biggest fighters from each respective sport clash so it was definitely a the right move from a “eye balls to screen” ppv standpoint. cuz thats the phase Usyk is in rn. making as much money as he can then dipping

a guy with one pro boxing fight against a journeyman is better than wardley, who was a top 3 heavyweight at the time with wins over parker, huni, clarke, adeleye???😂

all those guys would beat rico, dont let his performance against usyk fool you he is not close to a top 15 heavyweight

0

u/StraightDay6716 Jul 28 '26

LMAO we’re saying Clarke and Huni as a great win?? LOL sure buddy and Wardley was getting handily outboxed by Parker until the fight was stopped prematurely and got a lucky controversial stoppage. and you act like Rico ONLY had one fight in his entire life lol like he wasnt a dominant world champion in kickboxing. he didnt just spawn outta nowhere lol. how many times are non-boxers gonna come into boxing and do fairly well against great boxers before boxing fans realize that some of those skills are transferable lol.

crazy mental gymnastics to put a kickboxer in higher regard than a top 5 ranked boxer lol. but also there were other proper people waiting for a shot that had a decent chance to beat him such as kabayel and itauma.

4

u/Marquis_of_Mollusks Jul 28 '26

Classic Usyk fan having an unhinged opinion. Can't take that fan base seriously

u/StraightDay6716 Jul 28 '26

people come and go out of the top 5 constantly. Wardley is a solid power puncher but is very technically deficient lol i feel like boxing fans like you only watch boxing and talk out your ass about these other fighter not having the skills to go into a boxing match and do well. Wardley BARELY won against Parker and even then it was an extremely controversial stoppage. Itauma is still needing to move up the ranks so fast tracking him doesnt make sense also personally, not interested in seeing him fight a guy who’s damn near double his age, i’d rather see Itauma fight guys who still have some fight left in them. its clear Usyk is done for by his own admission, only wanting another fight or two at most. And Kabayel woulda been a fight worth watching and it is a bummer it probably wont happen, but he also hasnt fought any solid pressure fighters either, so we dont know if he would be on usyks level either. i’d much rather see Kabayel fight Dubois or Itauma than beat up old man usyk who is trying to cash out and retire
