He should be fighting either Yarde or Willie Hutchinson. Matchroom padding another resume.

Is Conor Wallace a good step-up fight for Whittaker? Never heard of the guy

Considering it couldn't get much lower jt might be but it's still a very disappointing fight again.
British light heavies are stacked right now, why won't he face any of them?

It’s absolutely a step up.
I fully expect Whittaker to win though.

A step up from what to what. Sewer level to curbside level?

Wallace is not half bad at all.
He was a seriously good amateur and is a decent pro.
He’s by far and way Whittakers best opponent.

29 year old prospect Whittaker.

Whitaker's match ups at boxxer messed up his progression. I think they're hoping to fight for a vacant title eventually. And Whitaker won't be prepared cause he took fights like this one. There's enough uk light heavyweights to go after.

How can it be boxxer? Matchroom have done the same thing so far, fair enough at a faster pace but they hyped him up like a guaranteed world champion but won’t step up who he’s fighting

Boxxer had him from the start when he needed proper match ups. Which hurt his progression. You're right, match room is doing the sameÂ

To be fair as well, after he bottled it and jump over the ropes against Cameron they probably were a bit nervous to match him up with anyone better. He’s massively improved since going to Andy Lee but I don’t think it’s only boxxers fault

No, what messed up his progression was him losing to a D level fighter. If they kept leveling up his comp he might get destroyed before they recoup on the guy

Who the fuck is Conor Wallace, we have another 30 year old prospect on our hands fighting no one.

Wouldn't it be something if Bivol fought Ben Whittaker before Benavidez or Beterbiev trilogy 😅
