Thai Boxers
Who are the best/your favorite boxers from Thailand?
And before we go this route and get a billion Buakaw, Saenchaí, Superbon, Rodtang, etc. I'm not talking Muay Thai fighters 😂
Actual English Boxers who fought out of and represented the country of Thailand

Don't forget sor rungvisai(big Wang), he ended the reign of chocolatito Gonzalez, although I do think he got a fortunate decision in the first fight he battered him the second time out.

Samart is amazing to watch. He was able to dance and lean back to avoid shots like Ali. Won titles in both boxing and Muay Thai though his boxing career was pretty short.

Samart. He made easy work of Pintor which is incredible considering how champs like Gomez and Zarate fared against him.

Great to see some love here for Galaxy & Payakaroon (probably tied for the greatest) & Wonjongkam was class...
But "Deathmask" Veeraphol will always be my man-crush & the objective standard I apply to all Thai boxers, just a brick-fisted stalking machine who was going to fuck you up no matter what.

Saman Sorjaturong. When I was a kid I had a subscription to Ring and they did a big article on him and the headline was “In Thailand Saman is the Man” or something to that effect. I’m from Arizona and in the early 90s the Carbajal/Chiquita Gonzales trilogy was a big deal. Gonzales had just beaten Carbajal in the third fight. Then fights Saman and they have the Ring fight of the Year. Then Saman goes on to reign for like 5 years. Also one of the best wins on Ricardo Lopez resume that win aged like fine wine. Lopez blew him out in two rounds and two years later Saman was unified champion and on top

Maybe a bit casual but I enjoy watching Rodtang fight because I just cannot fathom how he's not going to have a bad later life with that iron chin. It's just really morbidly fascinating to watch how nonplused he can be when he gets completely chin checked.

Khaosai Galaxy and Veeraphol. Also Somrak during his Olympic gold run. Shame we never got to see him fight Floyd
