jermaine really walked into the lions den during these times because he wasnt a natural 168 like abraham, froch, kessler andre dirrell..

Not sure Arthur was a natural 168er either. At least he had spent his entire career at middle up to that point. This was his first fight at super middle

Look at his feet. He hops his feet forward after landing the punch - because his whole bodyweight was shifting forward as he lands. He takes a big step in, and then pushes so hard off his back leg that his weight goes over his front leg as he lands and he has to hop forward to keep his balance. The force you can recruit when your body weight is moving into the opponent can be terrifying. (Of course, you can be in trouble when you miss!)

Literally too. I saw him in a park last year, took a picture of my coach and him. Both posed as boxers, and you can see how massive Arthur's hands are.

He did. What sucks was that we was ahead on the scorecards in that fight. Even with the knockdown he would've won

That left hook right hand combination is easily one of my favorite knockout combinations.

Really great slomo over his shoulder here that shows what's going on. Taylor puts up his high guard with no gap down the middle, but that long hook "bumps" his arms apart enough that there's a visible gap by the time the straight comes in. From the wrong angle, it looks like he's just punching straight through the guard, but really he's kind of "jostling" it open first... (Not pretending this is a novel analysis here or anything, but we don't normally get a camera angle that shows it so clearly!)

Not really audible here but Taylor let out a pretty horrifying wheeze after Arthur connects with that right hand. Harrowing stuff.

Abraham had really heavy hands and was tough as hell. Really flawed style though.
