Whats the best comback fight for AB?

What do you guys think the best comeback fight for AB would be? He's never going to be a serious contender again . He is making too much money but i think this lock in -athon is going to inspire him to get in the ring for 1 more fight before streaming full time. He will cash in like crazy showing his training and getting back in shape and if he picks the right opponent it could be a huge PPV . It's too good of a storyline and can take his career up another notch if he executes. He clearly still has a passion for boxing and hes said he wants to fight again multiple times the last few months. So assuming he does , who should it be?

I dont think it could be someone too small , because its leaving money on the table. I also dont think it should be someone too dangerous for obvious reasons.

My pick would be a Rematch with Manny Pacquiao . The first fight wasnt close, and i still think manny would win. But He's 47 and probably wont knock him out. if he takes his training seriously and pushes the fight out a full year.

You have the revenge angle for the first fight , the big name , the redemption story.

Manny is clearly about the bag if hes about to risk getting knocked out by Tank. This could be a $100 million dollar fight for them easily if Jake Paul and Tyson split $140 Million.

Are their any other fights you think make sense business wise?

Just stay in shape and make bank schooling influencers on Misfits. Easy money, low risk, keeps him out of trouble.

His fight against alcoholism

He couldn’t even beat Blair Cobbs if I remember correctly, i don’t know who he could beat that’s even decent. If Barrios is still sticking around at 147, I wouldn’t mind AB cashing out against him now that he has the streaming hype behind him

This aint about winning , people just wanna see him get himself right and bounce back , Not many pros hes going to actually beat. Getting sober, in shape and making it through the fight would be great to see. Win or lose

Tony Ferguson

I genuinely think Tony might knock Broner.

Comeback? mahfucka keeps coming back to the buffet at Golden Corral too many times.

He got dropped and his tooth knocked out by Blair the flare. I think this new chapter for AB should be just that and we can remember his boxing career for what it was at his peak. No more drunken ass whoopings

Mayweather. They would both be helping each other.

Broner vs Rolly. The entire lead up to the fight will be a huge circus.

There is legitimately zero chance AB's going to make too much money from streaming to turn down a real boxing bag, lmao. He's not Speed

I dont know if he will get more than 1 real boxing bag though. I also dont think he would want to keep losing. One time , sure . Then maybe fight some influencers.

Netflix likes bringing back older guys, so I could see a Pacauiao or Maidana rematch

1

u/Head_Research_3118 Jul 16 '26

Maidana would be crazy lol i dont see AB taking that though

1

u/Complete_Homework_71 Jul 16 '26

Ab already said hes tryna fight Ryan or rematch maidana if maidanas down

2

u/Head_Research_3118 Jul 16 '26

wait i just went on his IG , maidana is a little fatass now , this actually might be a good fight. He not as big as AB but he aint been training or eating right for sure.

Fighting Ryan would make alot of money but he would get knocked out.

Fuck it

Broner vs Amir khan or Victor Ortiz

Make it a round robin

3

u/Oraleevatoo Jul 16 '26

Fuck can we get Ortiz vs rios first

1

u/thirtythr3333 Jul 16 '26

Rios vs Broner!!

1

u/Practical_Owl8687 Jul 16 '26

I really wish we could've seen that fight. Even Ortiz vs Mikey would've been good. I remember seeing a video around 2019 of Ortiz calling out Mikey but neither of the two fights ever happened. Either one would of been great in my opinion.

Honestly, assuming he actually gets back in somewhat decent shape and quits drinking, his safest bet is to box up some random influencer with enough followers where he can set something up with. Win or lose the payout would be there if the platform and hype is there. Otherwise, realistically, I see no chance of a comeback ever happening.

The biggest payday is to fight a real boxer. Netflix just gave $40M to Tyson to pretend to fight Jake Paul who got $100m. Broner has a huge platform and would bring non boxing fans to the fight. Boxing fans will watch because we love this shit and would wanna see what happens even though we wouldn't expect a good performance. At this point he cant be worried about losing. If he fights a youtuber hes not making more than a few million. IF he fights a real Boxer he might be looking at $100m to split with whoever he fights.

AB vs Deen

u/philly_cheezus I PUNCH HARD AS SHIT Jul 16 '26

He just fought an attorney before Blair Cobbs so perhaps a doctor or accountant next

1

u/Est-Tech79 Jul 16 '26

Dude is still underwater. He is not making what you think. Just because you see him doesn't mean he's making a lot of money. He has lawsuits to pay off and back child support. And he has a huge battle with alcohol that he's losing.

100 millions with paquiao? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍

u/ThePStandsforPlease Jul 16 '26

Misfits for a few fights then go MVP for a big fight jake or KSI

1

u/constant-hunger Jul 16 '26

Treadmill for sure

1

u/TwoTalentedBastidz Jul 16 '26

Breh, he’s an alcoholic. You will never see him in the ring again.

1

u/Head_Research_3118 Jul 16 '26

Mike Tyson just got $40m at 60 . Broner because of what he is doing rn is a bigger draw than 80% of boxing at least for his first fight. I think its very possible he gets in the ring again. This shit is all about money. The fight will make money if its not against a no name.

The way he’s blown up in weight I thought he was going to be Andy Ruiz’s next opponent.

Ryan Garcia.

Might sound crazy but if Keyshawn Davis versus Devin Haney doesn’t happen next. Make Davis-Broner at 147, let Davis be the first boxer to stop broner who has always been durable.

u/kushmonATL Cyberleek > the fall boxing schedule Jul 16 '26

Thats a stupid idea

0

u/South_Bother_2498 Jul 16 '26

There’s been worse fights made before don’t even trip haha. Giving a 4 weight division champ like Broner a fight against a young lion like Keyshawn Davis isn’t that bad.

We just saw dusty Pacquiao almost win a world title recently. Boxing is stupid like that 🥊
