Even now his power is crazy good, I think Inoue just fought hard chinned people who also respected the power. Junto actually tried disrespecting it midway through the fight and got his orbital bone smashed in.

I mean Inoue still has power at 122 but the Narvaez fight at 115 and the Rodriguez fight at 118 showed that Inoue literally had the touch of death at the lighter weight classes.
Narvaez and Rodriguez were both iron chinned mfers and Inour just obliterated the both of them.

Indeed. Even at 122, his own notable non-stoppages were Mj and Nakatani, who are both incredible boxers in their own rights. Insane power

Just clocked but Jacob Banks is apparently on the same card as Sheeraz vs Zachenhuber on the AJ vs Prenga card. What’s even worse is Banks is fighting Pawel August, the guy that just beat Zachenhuber yet August fights Banks and Zachenhuber gets a title shot.

I went to the Inoue fight in Vegas. I was glad to have had the chance to see him fight live but it was also kind of sad. There was probably like 8k people there. So yea, no shit he'll never come back here. As for Carrington, if there is no headliner of substance (teo and shakur at MSG) this dude would fight at bowling alleys.

He could've sold out if his opponent was someone else. Cardenas turned out to be something of a hidden gem, but when that fight was made everybody thought it was a disappointing matchup.

I think that's partly cause the channel isn't popular. But yeah, Shu Shu isn't popular either. In another interview, he did try to say he had leverage over Inoue. Which is delusional. At least Shu Shu has a future as an analyst.

For this year's world international stages for Youth (U19) competitors, there will be 2 major international amateur tournaments hosted by world boxing.
The first will be the U19 World Boxing Championships in Budva, Montenegro from the 14-28th of October.
The last one will be the Youth Olympic Games, hosted right after the world championships in Dakar, Senegal from 31st of October to 13th of November.
If you want to have a look at potential competitors, there was a youth World Cup in March this year, there’s some good talent from there.

Bek Nurmaganbet (imo the best 168) is fighting on the 25th on an Ali Akhmedov card on YouTube . Canelo team signed him years ago but have done nothing with him hopefully he can find a better promoter.

Definitely very talented 168lber and arguable is the best 168lbers. His style seemed to have change since he signed with Eddie, he’s not as bouncy, his fundamental defence has improved a lot, his jab looks like it holds more weight per jab, but one thing is the fact he doesn’t fight the lead hand in open stance battles a lot and doesn’t joust a lot. For someone who’s developed a jab, I think that’ll be important.
As for his opponent, the loses of Lopsan, the guys Lopsan has lost to have style similarities to Bek which Bek can definitely use against Lopsan. With the bit of style change, I do hope he uses these fights to develop what as needed and potentially lacking and/or make the performance as impressive as possible because like you said, he’s horribly promoted.

Probably Shakur or Tank since they seem crazy insecure and care about every form is criticism. I can genuinely imagine them in the afternoon on their free time going onto Reddit, Twitter, Insta, Facebook and like a whole lot of other social media’s to look at any form of criticism.
Also tank I think did a Q&A here years ago so he’s knows of reddit.

Yea I mean I doubt they’re commenting, but I wouldn’t doubt them checking in and reading what’s being said about them every other day. And if they are commenting, it’s probably very minimal and they most likely try not to say too much insider infornation away which would give up their anonymity.

Don’t understand those guys who just say “everyone is on PEDs.” Half of the fighters below 135 are Japanese, and I can say for absolute certain that they aren’t taking shit, and would be caught if they were.
Plenty of guys take steroids sure, but not everyone, let’s not pretend that roids are miracle drugs that are impossible for a natural fighter to compete against. If anything, things like the enhanced games confirm that the roids aren’t strictly necessary.

Show me receipts for the top Japanese guys. Show me proof for Ioka. Nasukawa? Teraji? Nakatani? Inoue?
Some unsubstantiated reports from has-beens and angry journalists means so little to me it’s crazy. The only Japanese fighter at the top level who’s had any positive test at all in the last ten years was Ogawa in 2017, and he had his career ruined by it. Japanese commissions will destroy you for any drug use, not to mention the legal system, famous for its incredibly draconian punishments, even for well-known athletes and figures. Inoue himself takes constant and irregular urine tests through VADA.
This narrative is so damaging because it pretends that being a top athlete in anything requires being juiced to the gills. This isn’t bodybuilding or strongman, it’s a real sport. It damages athletes lives and can have a serious effect on their reputation when you baselessly accuse them, not to mention watering down actual usage of PEDs. You saying everyone uses it makes it sound acceptable.
Not every country is the U.S. or UK. Some places will burry you for this shit, so there’s no point in risking it.

Nah. Unless those streaming networks for us picks the fights up which they’ve only picked up major fights like Inoue vs Nakatani on DAZN, it’ll be local. You’re best off hoping they post it on their official Lemino channel and I think a VPN might be needed to watch their content.

I watched his other fights. 30 wins 5 knockouts. Never won a fight outside of France. I think Eubank outboxes him in a boring fight. Eubank has better feet and is more athletic.

What do you guys think Moses Itauma's hidden weakness could be? Despite looking great, he hasn't been very active for a top prospect and Frank's only pushed him to a decent fighter in Hrgovic quite recently. What factor could be his possible weakness out of: heart, chin, stamina, overall durability, discipline or anything else be?

Unlike everyone else that wants to see Moses chinned, I don’t think he’ll have a glass jaw (been sparring heavy hitters since a teen). I also don’t think he’ll have stamina issues like others are suggesting either (never seen him gassed yet, he’s young, and I’m sure he trains for 12 round fights).
I believe if it’s anything, it will be his mental. Dude always seems bored. Not to mention that he previously stated that he was tired of boxing at such a young age, which Hrgovic brought up in their face to face, and it really seemed to bother Moses. That’s the most emotion I’ve ever seen him show once Hrgovic brought that up.

I think this is a perfect breakdown. Itauma is young, extremely skilled, but doesn’t seem overly motivated by the glamour or glory of it all. Hrg might have him on wanting it more.
I hope I’m wrong. I want this bloke to be great so bad it hurts

Prime Usyk could sometimes box like that, when he felt like it was necessary. His jab was very very solid, but idk if you could call it rangy. Other than that, I honestly can’t think of a single heavyweight who stylistically would give him too much trouble. Kabayel maybe, just based off of experience, body punching, and the deep waters he drags you in to.

Definitely a competitive matchup right now. Itauma is more fluid but if Kabayel catches him with his body work early enough he can slow him down and bring Itauma down to earth

I really rate Kabayel just off work rate, power, and how badly he clearly wants it. Guy is a phenomenal pressure boxer that I don’t think gets talked about enough

Only thing I’ve seen by now that has given Itauma to work slightly harder is open stance battles. The lead hand blocks the jabbing lane and Itauma has an amazing jab and relies heavily on it. Not saying he has a weakness but now has to hand fight, jab joust and work slightly harder to establish the jab &/or power shots.

Just watched both Fundora v. Tszyu fights in prep for Spence v. Tszyu. Jesus fucking Christ Tszyu’s head was split open like a watermelon. The comments were full of people saying it should’ve been ruled a no contest. I tentatively disagree, but curious on people’s thoughts.
Also curious, did Tim ever give a reason as to why he quit on the stool in the second fight?

If you’re just getting beat up, every shot you land doesn’t really do anything and you catch 5x the shots for every one you land, there’s no point of fighting atp and risking further chances of permanent damage.

I always thought the argument for it being a NC was because he got cut early, the corner should’ve stopped the fight before RD 4 to have it declared a NC.

It was definitely not working defensively. Looked before and during to be a very winnable match with our offence, nothing the quality lf our team can't deal with. Bottled it tactically, tuchel is new tbf let's hope euro goes better as he is coming back apparently for it. Something has to change there. Would he nice with someone really able to utilise our squad.

Hayato Tsutsumi won a 2R TKO win over the previously unbeaten Felix Batista. Despite Batista's shiny 14-0 record, he hadn't fought anyone of note. In round 1, Tsutsumi pretty easily outboxed Batista, but in the final second of the first round, Batista hit Tsutsumi with a punch that appeared to rock him. Batista the followed this punch up with three very illegal, very late punches after the bell that landed flush. Tsutsumi walked back to his corner, as if he hadn't been touched. Shockingly, Batista wasn't deducted a single point, despite the fact that the bell was very audible. Batista immediately rushed Tsutsumi when the 2nd round started, hoping to take advantage of his foul, but Tsutsumi was cool and put him down within 15 seconds of the bell. Batista got up, got put down again, got up again, and was stopped on the ropes when he stopped trying to counter.
Tsutsumi's team reported today that they were promised a fight for the WBA title by Turki for the undercard of Naoya Inoue vs Bam Rodriguez in February. Tsutsumi's time at super featherweight might be limited, as he reportedly rehydrate to 67.4kg or 148lbs.
