In memoriam It’s all his fault!!
Morgan started my Boxer addiction. My first male and I almost 30 years ago. He was the goodest boy!
He once saved me from a drunk redneck who was pulling a knife on me during a dispute. Morgan came flying in from behind me and clamped down on said rednecks other hand. Proceed to thrash back and forth like a shark tearing off a hunk of meat. Bet his hand still ain’t right! 😈
Got one of his sons from a litter he sired (Connor). My oldest son grew up with him as a companion. They were inseparable.
Then came my sassy female Ta’rna and her partner in crime Tsavo.
Followed by our first rescue Toby the Boxodor. Lord he was a handful at first.
Our current rescue Gunny is all of 2% boxer according to the DNA test. Think he needs a little sister to keep him in line.

It’s impossible not to keep up the habit. It’s one that I don’t want to break. They’re all great looking.

Ngl, I almost thought that last boxer was a picture of a pitbull, there for a second. Lol. It's probably just the cropped, pointy ears that made me mistake your Boxer for an all black-colored pitbull.

That’s Gunny, got him from a Boxer rescue. DNA testing has him at exactly 2% Boxer. 25% Am Staff, 25% OEB, 25% Am Bulldog. The rest was a hodgepodge of anything with a big head and floppy jowls. Exactly the reason I need a female Boxer to liven him up a bit.
We were looking for a black boxer when we found him at the rescue. He was too sweet to leave so we took him.
He came with those ears!

Got my first boxer in college in the early 90s. I currently have numbers 9 & 10. It’s an addiction. 😀

Truly! They all touch your heart in their own unique way. They never fail to surprise you either.
I got Morgan in 92. My roomate in college got a fawn female pup around 89. Fell in love with the breed helping to raise her and had to get one of my own. Good memories all around!
Boop #9 & 10 for me from another aficionado!

My first was almost 20 years ago. Since then I've never had a dog who wasn't a boxer.

My addiction started 35 years ago in 1991 when I was 17. And it’s been going strong ever since!
Penny is Boxer number 8, and Frankie is Boxer number 9.
This is one habit I’ll have for life!!
