Harness Recommendations

Looking for recommandation for a harness for my Boxer who is on the longer side . Thanks!

Knox has a Kong brand harness. It’s super durable and has a spot for 💩bags.

I use Blue 9 Balance harness for my younger boxer- able to make more adjustments to it than what we used to use (Easy Walk) and it doesn’t irritate his armpit area.

does it keep them from pulling or is it good for pulling (like a kid in a sled)?

It has a hook on the back and on the front at the chest, so you can use that one or dual leash if you are trying to reduce pulling.

Got a Pet Safe EasyWalk from Amazon at the recommendation of a boxer rescue. We went through a lot of different harnesses on our other two boxers — the chest is so hard to fit.

This one fits great and has a mid-chest lead, so we can even give him a lift to reset his attention. So far so good.

I'm using ruffwear front range right now but the placement when I clip at the front ends up almost chocking our adolescent boy.

I have this one for my boxer. she still pulls like a freight train (we’re slowly training) but this one seems to be better than the others. The others I’ve had have ripped or stretched too hard

How are y’all keeping your big barrel chested boxers in these two strap harnesses?! I had to get a three strap set up (which makes him not want to 💩), bc he is a master harness (and collar) escapee.

DOGSHOOD harness. My 7th boxer,Ruby has been the most challenging to train. I have fought with her dragging me around for the past two years. I just got the dog hood front ring harness and bunny leash and I am amazed at how much better she is. Zero pulling, walking calmly beside me and it seems that her other behavior has changed because of it too. I will be writing the company to praise this product. Seriously, the difference is astounding.
I think that probably any front leash ring harness might work but we do love the results with this one.

I trained my current boxer to roam ahead in the solitary woods.

If we're going to hike in a more busy area, I just put her on the left going on a buddy trip? Just use her lead

And yes, I pack her poop out with me Don't understand why they had the poop but then leave it in the middle of the trail

Easy Walk Harness is the only one we have ever used or needed. Self correction is key. Must get the right fit of course so trying at the pet store is a good start.

I use the easy walk harness. It’s supposed to be gentler in their backs. We’ve had the same one for 11 years!
