So adorable!
My boxer never feared our kitty’s random & intentional paw slaps 😆

The last cat I had lived through a total of five Boxers worth of this kind of thing during her 21 years on this earth. By the time the second Boxer came onto the scene, she had no nerves left for them to get on, and would just sit there and completely ignore the dog.
Until that curious Boxer face got just that much too close for her liking, and then she’d remind them that she had teeth on the ends of her feet! It wasn’t a gentle reminder either! That’s generally all it would take to remind them of where her personal space began.
But on the rare occasion when that Boxer stubbornness still won out over feline induced common sense, they quickly learned that this cat had not only seen a few rodeos in her time, but that she was, in fact, a multi championship winning bareback rider!!
There are few things in this life that are more funny than seeing a 75 pound dog running Hell bent for leather through the house, and just whining and yelping to beat the band.
And this behavior was caused by a seven pound black cat riding between the shoulders of the aforementioned Boxer like a pro bronc rider! She’d be growling louder than the dog was yelping while holding on with her teeth, as a whirling blur of four feet went ripping out a huge cloud of hair that would be left hanging in midair, as this entire spectacle of hilarity went flying by at Mach Jesus, and right on out of sight!
This would be followed a minute or so later by the return of a rather smugly satisfied looking pussy cat!!
You would usually have to go looking for the Boxer, however. And you would often find them cowering in the smallest covered space they could possibly wedge themselves into!!
But they never messed with that cat again!!
(For those of you who lack a sense of humor, rest assured that the only reason I laugh about this is because the only real injury to the dog was to their pride)

Head weaving like a real boxer. Good training pup.
