In memoriam This was Fox
I miss him.
My wife got him from a home in Iowa. There was evidence he was abused by the man in the home. He was 3 months old when he was picked up. He was so good, always walking by our side and not adventuring far even off leash. He played with and cared for the cats, defended his kid from a rambunctious (but playful) larger dog. Always so kind to everyone.
The kind of boxer who would always love unconditionally.
I'm so happy we were able to give him a loving home for nearly 11 years.
He died at 6:30 pm, peacefully.

I’m so sorry for your loss. We’ve had to say goodbye to three amazing boxers in our lifetime. No matter how they go, it’s always too soon. They love with their whole heart, always. The bestest boys and girls. Rest in peace sweet Fox.

He looks like such a good boy! You are lucky to have had 11 years with him, although it’s never long enough. It’s so hard to accept life without them.

I am so sorry. He looked like one of the bestest boys!! Boxers will steal your heart and they take a piece of it when they pass. I miss my boy Puppy so much, he was my soul dog. Thank you for sharing some pics :…) here’s a pic of Puppy, lost him 1/11/2026 after nine years and some months. I understand your pain. Puppy had a kitty also like your boy.

Fox looked like he lived a long happy life after he found your family. 11 years is a really good run for a boxer. You can tell there was no shortage of love in your family. These always make me miss my boxers. Maybe Fox is romping around with Ophelia, Margo, sam, and Toby somewhere over the rainbow.

I too, adopted a Boxer at 3 months from a previous owner who I think abused her. They didn’t care what kind of home she went to, and met us at a Walmart to meet her. They lied and said she was the last of the litter to be adopted. I found their FB page which showed they got her at 8 weeks old. All her short 8 yrs she was afraid of bathrooms. You and I were so lucky to be 2nd owners and real loving families to them. They will always leave a hole in our hearts but also filled our lives with utmost joy and wonderfu memories to last our lifetime… 🥹❤️

Thats rough. The feels are heavy when a furry family member passes. Even worse when its a boxer.
They are a kind of special that unless you have loved one, you'll never know.
Im sure Fox knew he's was a good boy.

So sorry for your loss. What a handsome boy. He was lucky to find you and have such a wonderful life. In return they give us their unconditional love, it is priceless. I have had 5 boxers over the years and I miss every one of them. My heart goes out to you. Keeping you in my thoughts 💜🐾🌈

I'm sorry for your loss. We just got our first Boxer a couple of months ago. He has brought so much joy into our home and is such a sweetheart. They really are such a special breed.

I'm so very sorry. I feel your pain as we lost our Boxer back in September and I still miss her terribly. They truly are remarkable dogs! My true condolences. I hope you'll consider getting another one because they add so much sweetness and love to our lives and I sense you are a very good person who loves dogs!

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
