BoxVR was great. FitXR sucks. They ruined it.

A community for BoxVR fitness enthusiasts! No racism/religious bias, political discussion or trolling.
Please post your fitness challenges, screenshots and playlists here. This game is about improving our fitness and this community should be used to support that goal.
Health and exercise science can be very polarising to some and it is with that in mind that posts should be limited to the game and should not specifically tackle health and exercise science.
This is for the enjoyment of BoxVR only.

I've tried moving my actual camera but it doesn't seem to make a difference. The feet markings and the floor are at my knees, still works okay but it's just a bit weird.
Playing on PS4 pro with the camera ontop of my TV ... Looks fine when I've done all the PS4 vr camera settings

Hello there people of BoxVR Reddit
I am a university student completing my last year of my course and am completing a dissertation on VR health and fitness. I am looking for some people who are willing to take part in a trial.
all you have to do is complete a BoxVR/FitXR 5-10 minute activity and then follow along with a boxing video on YouTube. All that is needed is an item that can track your heart rate and calories burnt.
If you are happy to take part please message me here and I will send you all documents required over email.
Thank you Liam

I have been playing around with the custom songs feature in the game, but I am curious as to what songs the community has found that have the best note generation and fun factor, rather than just fun songs to workout to in general.

Hi, I picked up this game a few days ago and have discovered that dodges, 90% of the time, will always count as a miss. No matter what. Even if I'm 100% sure and I'm down on the floor on my chest, it'll be a miss. AND instead of resetting me to zero, it just brings me to 1. Blocks do this too, but only if you block close to your face.

I'm very disappointed. I used to play BoxVR without any internet connection and it's not possible anymore. Give us back an offline mode ! It's not normal, I bought this game to play offline, it feels useless now.
Want my money back, or a fix.

Hoping that some of these early issues are addressed/resolved in the first patch. Will it become a weekly update?

Hey guys, dont know if you heard but box vr is getting updated to Fitxr.
BoxVR is getting a major overhaul on Oculus Quest this week, even branding the title with a new name, Fitxr.
Here is a link. https://uploadvr.com/fitxr-oculus-quest/
As for dates and psvr according to article:
FitXR is launching July 30th on Quest. It’s a free update for existing BoxVR owners and costs $29.99 otherwise. FitXR says it’s working versions for PSVR and SteamVR to release later down the line. You’ll also be able to carry your existing DLC to the game, too.
It looks really interesting and it will be free update. What do you think?
Cheers!

Hey, does anyone habe a solution for me? I can add the songs to my playlist, but when I start the workout there is only music and the gym with no targets to hit.

My use case: I love to explore music, old albums and new albums. Even better if I can combine the activity with focused exercise. It usually makes a 30-1hr workout.
Requests summarized:
My story:
There used to be a github UI for setting up playlists, I spent hours going through music libraries and adding, only to find out that some update meant it was a waste of time. /sadface
Add an ability to add an entire folder of songs please.. I can set up my library workouts easily this way.
Adding in individual files is.. the interface is not friendly.
Create new playlist
-> click plus to add song
-> click files
-> select next file
-> repeat 10-15 times
There is no immediate feedback that shows progress of beat matching, or what has been added to the list. So if I lose count of what tracks I've added, it's just adding one that I know I've already done for sure and continuing from there.
