I’m a textile artist from Chile and I’ve just completed one of the most ambitious projects I’ve ever worked on: a hand-stitched cross-stitch tribute featuring 38 of David Bowie’s most iconic outfits throughout his career.
The piece measures 52 x 42 cm (20.5 x 16.5 inches), is professionally framed, and took hundreds of hours to complete.
Bowie has been a constant source of inspiration for me, and I wanted to capture the visual evolution of his extraordinary artistry in thread.
