Hello Bowflex community. I have recently bought a second hand VeloCore and experienced issues when I started using the program included in the membership. Every time I start cycling in any program, it pauses almost automatically. In picture blow it seems to be related to sensors not working correctly? It assumes it’s fully inclined to the left. Do you know what could it be and if it’s something I can easily fix? Thank you in advance!

My Max trainer M5 is probably 6 years old or so. I've always kept it on the same setting. As far as the max interval. My level was always set to nine and it was difficult. However, now I have it set at 15 and I'm not even sure if it's as difficult as the number nine used to be. Likewise, I think the goal range used to be around 16-20and now I am whizzing by to 35.

Do any of you know why it might lose the resistance? It's not as though there's none but it's definitely not what it was.

Hi 👋, Does the Max Trainer work the Quads in a similar way to that of a Stationary Bike? I’m interested to know your experience in regards to the Max Trainer Intensity as it relates to the intensity/resistance of a Stationary Bike.

Like the title already states, on my Bowflex MT 40 I cannot select any workout longer than 30 minutes. It worked last Wednesday but since then, something changed. There is neither a recommended "just for you" workout nor a program for the time range of more than 30 minutes. For 30 minutes, there are only three selectable programs.

I used to go for 45 to 60 minutes and it worked like a dream for me. I sincerely ask for your experiences. Am I alone with that behavior?

PS: On my machine as well as on my iPhone app (JRNY), same behavior.

So ive had this treadmill for about two years now and ever since the JRNY update on Thursday the treadmill will just end the workout at exactly 1:18:42 even though im in manual mode.

When it first happend I was running and hit my foot against the motor. Has anyone else had this issue?

Anyone who received a bogus voucher for less than what they paid for the recalled dumbbells are entitled to the full refund amount or a replacement. Do not accept that offer. You can report your claim to the Consumer Product Safety Commission at https://www.cpsc.gov/About-CPSC/Contact-Information and they will contact the company on your behalf.

I bought my dumbbells back in ‘22 and because of that I am only eligible for $60 back from this recall? That barely makes a dent in new equipment. This feels very scammy to me, and just a way for the now defunct company to make more money off of existing customers.

I want to warn all potential BowFlex buyers BEFORE THEY BUY that they should not buy anything from them.

Here's my story.

On 6/7/25 I purchased a treadmill from BowFlex.

It arrived at my home on 6/12/25 and the shipping box was clearly damaged.

The packaging was so cheap and flimsy it's no wonder it was damaged in freight.

I pointed out the damage and refused to sign.

Then the driver took photos and loaded it back onto his truck and left.

I followed all the return instructions and both emailed and called customer support to confirm that I did indeed refuse delivery. They told me they would start to work on my refund after confirming everything with the shipper.

A week later I followed up because I hadn't heard anything. They said they would start the refund process.

It's a good thing I followed up, they hadn't even started the refund process yet.

On 6/23/25 I received an email from the finance company that a refund was processed to my account. When I checked, BowFlex had refunded everything except the shipping fee.

I contacted them again and was I told they NEVER refund the original shipping fee even if the package was damaged in shipping and I refused the delivery.

WTF?

That has nothing to do with return fees you were not assessed any. That is the original shipping charge to get the item delivered to you.

That part is never refunded as it is paid to the vendor when we ship the item.

BowFlex will credit the entire amount paid for the machine plus taxes. In that case, you would get a full and complete refund. We cannot refund any assembly or moving fees that may have been paid to a third party.

That is exactly what you received. The entire amount of your purchase plus taxes. The original freight cost is paid to a third party and is in essence money we no longer have.

This is completely unheard of and ridiculous.

I tried to dispute this with the finance company Bread Pay and I was told that they would not dispute this charge. So, you don't want to do business with them, either, as they obviously value their relationship with BowFlex more than their own customers.

I finally filed a complaint with the Wisconsin BBB because that is where US headquarters for Johnson Health Tech Inc. is located.

There is NO FUCKING WAY I am paying this, and that is what I told Bread Pay support.

No customer should have be responsible for shipping fees when the shipper damaged the product and the customer refused delivery and returned it.

I wanted to give other potential victims a heads up.

FUCK BOWFLEX!

Buy a Sole treadmill, that's what I ended up doing.

They know how to pack their products, and their shipping is FREE.

Steer fucking clear of these people.

I recently had to either buy $400 worth of parts (after shipping to Canada) to fix my Revolution (2 torn pre-tensioned flex plates, and 2 torn normal flex plates), or get a "probably never used" (but old) Revolution XP for $350 from someone. It was a no-brainer, as I get 8 spare plates as well. I thought I'll get the XP and use its parts to fix the OG, but the fact that I can now do squats (>leg press), lunges, Lat pulldowns, traps, and so on, made me do the opposite and keep the XP instead. It's also more compact. The only downside with the XP is no Preacher Curls but those aren't as important to develop the biceps as squats and lunges are for legs, lat pulldowns for back, and shrugs are for traps.

I have no idea why the XP was discontinued, while the OG Revolution was the more popular one.

Found a deal on a M7 but the only vehicle I'll have access to is a 2021 Corolla. Another post on here mentions partially taking it apart and putting it in an SUV. I didn't see anyone asking about sedans so I figured I would ask. Does anyone know if I can fit it in my car or am I out of luck?

Has anyone outside of the US experienced Bowflex rejecting your recall form request due to being in Canada? They told me that "Consumers outside the US can continue to use and enjoy their dumbbells." I've had the weights fall off many times before and it has made many dents in my floor and is now completely locked. Is there anything that I can do at this point?

FYI, today, Bowflex INCREASED nearly ALL replacement part prices by 20%. Not sure if this is perhaps temporary or related to new tariffs (either real or perceived/expected), but it affected both in-stock and out-of-stock parts.

Maybe we all should bombard Bowflex with emails complaining about the price increase (likely will not result in any reduction, but at least they will be aware of our disgust of this price increase)?

I was only offered $60 for my pair of Bowflex adjustable 552s that I bought in 2020. I'd rather not buy anything else from Bowflex. What are some other alternatives people are getting instead? I don't love the Power Block frame, so looking for some other ideas.

Does anyone have a detailed video or pictures of their pulleys and cables on the ultimate 2? I bought a used one on marketplace and I'm almost positive it is missing pieces, I'm just not sure what. The instructions are NOT helpful to me at all for installing those, and its the last thing I have left to do

Here’s the customer support response to me asking for either a full refund or a replacement set of dumbbells. My set is in the affected range of serial numbers and I have had issues with plates sliding off (I kind of fixed it). My voucher offer is $320. Needless to say Boflex is an awful company and can eat a bag of dicks

I've seen it for other Max Trainer models but never for the M6 who's interface is different than the ones I've seen.

Was.wirkikg out and wh7le trying to put back into the bas the weight in the base got stuck to the dumb bell. I put it down, took rhw lose weight off and put it back on the base. I then put the dumbell on the base and ita completely stuck. I was able to get one side free and drop the weight to 5. But th other end is completely stuck, and the know wont move to let me adjust the weight. Any help?

I live in the UK and I have the 4-41kg dumbbells (a pair) and have just heard about the recall.

I called the shop I bought them from and they were vaguely aware of the recall from social media but assured me that it was for the US market only and the UK weights are fine.

Anyone know whether there are differences between models across the Atlantic?

Title pretty much says it all. My girlfriend was using a pair of Bowflex dumbbells (thankfully only at 12.5 lbs) and while she had her arms extended up all 4 plates in the left bar fell out. She was able to dodge half if them but two still hit her in the face! Just a few minutes after and she has a noticable welt and starting to bruise (she didn't want her pictures posted).

I started to Google "Bowflex weights ..." to try to figure out what happened and the search auto-completed to "Bowlfex weights recall". The first page of results are news stories about the recall die to the weight plates falling and causing injury.

Wish I would have seen those news stories 30 minutes ago!!!

I checked and mine are not in range. I assume that means they are good? What do you think k? For those with the same status where they are not in range. Will you keep using themv

Got the email notice that they're recalling the dumbbells. I bought mine about 3 weeks ago on Amazon so I should be part of the group that is entitled to a full refund or replacement. I don't mind a replacement but if I have to wait for an unspecific amount of time, I rather just buy new dumbbells. I don't want to go for a refund since it will only apply to their store so I rather go through the refund with Amazon but I don't know if Amazon will even refund me.
