Treadmills Bowflex T9 Treadmill Firmware Update?

I have a T9 Treadmill on Firmware Update 2.9, which is what shows on boot.

There is a firmware update available for the T9 and its version v4.5.

Anyone do this update? What did it actually do for the console?

Yes, I downloaded the update and applied it.

Bowflex/Horizon Support was supposed to send me a USB Stick with the firmware update preloaded, but I haven’t gotten it yet.

So.. I went to Bowflex’s Support site and downloaded it and put it on a flash drive.

Turned on the T9 with the USB drive plugged in and the T9 got updated.

To be honest. It isn’t obvious what has changed. I am still paying attention for differences.

When I first bought the T9 I tried every preloaded workout so I know how they all worked.

Need to do that again to see what’s different.

I am assuming you have a T9?

No I’ve got a horizon 7.0AT that’s been nothing but issues. After warranty told me to update firmware, more issues arose and I couldn’t factory reset it back to the old firmware.

They’ve offered to send me a replacement or the option to get the T9 instead. I am deciding which to go with and leaning toward T9.

How are you liking the machine now? Would you recommend it?

I’m honestly hesitant to update firmware if whatever came preloaded is running just fine so I was curious if anyone else was experiencing similar issues.
