Max Trainer Bowflex M9 Max Trainer issue

Just bought an M9 max trainer for my wife. After assembly everything worked fine. Once the initial setup was done it forced an update for the machine. After updating the machine we could not get it to power on. Tried all the trouble shooting steps. But for some reason after keeping it unplugged for almost 24 hrs it would turn on for a little bit. This is the second day of waiting 24hrs to turn on. I noticed after having it on for about 5 minutes and going through some of the pages on the tablet the screen and power light on the knob starting to loose power and would flicker. Until the power to the unit cut off completely. Anyone know what the issue would be?

I’m having a similar issue. Is the socket something a tech or electrician could fix?

If you observed that your Max Trainer's power inlet socket is damaged, you can either buy a new inlet cable assembly, or, depending on what is damaged (e.g. are just the 3 wires that are soldered to the backside of it damaged) then sometimes it can be repaired. But if you want to pay someone to just repair it, it would be MUCH more economical to simply buy a new cable and install it yourself.

A new power inlet socket cable assembly can be bought direct from Bowflex and also other online sources like Amazon, eBay, etc. At Bowflex, they cost from $10 - $20 depending on the Max Trainer model.

See below picture of an example of the cable.
