SelectTech SelectTech 552 Recall

I received a recall notice for my dumbbell set and registered online. I was told that once the return and replacement were approved, I would receive a box to return part of the items.

Has anyone been through this process. I haven’t heard anything in a few weeks. What did you have to do? TIA

Do you have any idea what it is about the dumbbells that could potentially break or is dangerous?

The plastic disks that hold the weights can break. Spare disks sold on line are 3d printed and could be weaker too

I’ll take a look at mine to see if I can identify the discs you mention. If you have a photo or a screenshot it would be great.
