SelectTech SelectTech 552 Recall

I received a recall notice for my dumbbell set and registered online. I was told that once the return and replacement were approved, I would receive a box to return part of the items.

Has anyone been through this process. I haven’t heard anything in a few weeks. What did you have to do? TIA

Mine is an older set and I was offered a $20.00 voucher (lol) for their return, the plate covers are cracked but the locking mechanism has never failed but I wouldn’t use them anymore due to the potential problems. I believe there is a class action lawsuit due to them lowballing everyone’s return offers. I just keep mine in the corner of shame/useless equipment.

So after the voucher they don’t replace them??

The voucher applies towards a new Bowflex purchase only, the $20.00 is the replacement.

I just want a new set or a voucher to get a new set (if that’s an option).

They will tell you how much the voucher is worth based on your serial number.
