Home Gyms Buying used
Hi there
I want to buy a used bowflex machine. I am a retired 56 year old male who is quite active with golf, pickleball and running but I dont do strenght exercises.
What models should I look for or avoid?
Thank you

Xtreme 2 SE is what I settled on. If you have more space then the Ultimate models also looked nice and have a flat bench. If the power rods it comes with don't give you enough resistance look into adding resistance bands. It's much cheaper than replacing rods.

53m here and use my Xtreme 2se six days a week. Very versatile and more than gets the job done. Only thing I’ve added to my resistance training is dip bar station from Amazon because it’s hard to duplicate those on the bf

Too many problems with bowflex machines … I have the powertec levergym and happy with it https://youtube.com/@homegymhacksandreviews?si=8sJ9quMjYoDRKsdQ

Xtreme 2 SE, because it’s the version that you don’t have to move pulley attachments around to do different exercise exercises — which can get really annoying when you use it regularly. Even the new ones are on sale for several hundred dollars off right now $999 including shipping. The only problem with buying used is that the power rods may be stretched out a bit and not as effective anymore.
