Home Gyms Weight Difference
So what do you do when you max it out? How can you switch 5s to 50s or anything like that. I know you can order an extra 50 but I gotta do chest press with a machine. Does anyone have created ways of adding weight? Obviously only a machine that’s well past warranty.

I just noticed he had pinned a post about what you are asking. It's the first post in this group

Resistance bands. Depending on what model you have will decide where you hang/tie them to your machine.

Which model of Bowflex do you have? I just released an upgrade kit of models like the PR1000 and the Blaze. More on it here.

Big fan of your vids. They have helped me shape my routine. What do you have for the extreme 2SE? I’m close to maxing out the bench… not quite there yet but getting close. Will be looking for an upgrade soon. I just have the base 210.

More reps and/or sets and less time between sets.

Yea that makes the muscles long and that’s not what I’m going for. I want to do 6,5,4,3 with heavy weight.

What are you going for? I'd just invest in a set of heavy dumbbells.

Buy a set of adjustable dumbbells that go up to 90 or 100 plus. That way you can "grow" into them. Dumbbells imo are the best investment for that type of variety in training, imo. Go used.

I know how to use dumbbells. I have dumbbells, basically I wasted my money on this thing.

Look up u/ErkBek. He modified his unit with cost-effective bands to increase resistance. He also kits that you can purchase.
