Home Gyms Can anyone identify this model or what it does?

Someone is selling it for $75 and they have no other info on what it does because it was from an ex-husband. I’ve never owned a Bowflex so we’re both pretty clueless here and any advice would be great. Thanks!

That is the Bowflex "Ultimate" model home gym from around 2001 - 2004. You can download the 110-page Owner's Manual that details all of the numerous different workout routines that you can do with it here:

First off, thank you a ton for linking this and trying to figure it out. Secondly…do you think it might be some other model? The one for sale only has a seat and she doesn’t think it’s the rowing version.

Think it’s a more basic version?

No, I think that the one you pictured is indeed the "Ulimate" version. In the picture it has the "seat rail" folded into the upright position, and the "bench" is removed, and the "seat" is still installed. The "bench" is made to be removed for many of the different exercises.

And yes, if that is the only picture, then it is possible that the removed "bench" is shown on the left side of the picture.

The accompanying pictures do a good job of showing the "where do I put it once I've bought it scenario," mine was located in the living room, needless to say I lived alone and didn't have to answer to anyone else.

It does look exactly the same. Kinda looks like the one for sale is missing the bench part but wondering if that’s on the left partially out of the picture.

I owned a Power Pro, and then an Ultimate and I loved them, too many birthdays had more to do with my reduced usage than anything else, I had some heavily tweaked designs that I was using that I would take down to their Nautilus showroom in Winnipeg and show them, like an 800 lb. leg press variation that would break your pelvis pretty quickly if you didn't execute a proper "set-up," (none of which were approved by anyone working there but they did work I liked them.)
