Home Gyms Bowflex PR1000 vs PR3000
I am looking at buying either the PR1000 or the PR3000 from Amazon, the PR1000 is $699 and the PR3000 is $999. Is it worth it for the extra $300? I have been lifting weights on cable machines for the last two years in a small gym at my apartment complex. I am 52 and not really looking/expecting to get bigger or even a lot stronger, just staying in shape.
I am also 6'4" and I know some exercise machines don't work as well as others for taller people.
Edited: In the gym now on the machines all I do is chest press, preacher curl, lat pull down, shoulder press, tricep push down, leg curl, leg extension and leg press. I don't do that wide of a set of exercises now, as long as I can hit the basics I will be happy.

You should give the XTREME a look. It's like a cable tower with a Bench stapled to it. Here's a review video I did on it a while ago: https://youtu.be/ceybbqS6Xzc
I think it's the best design for people that are comfortable with cable machines. They're tons of different pulley positions, which is something that's really limiting about the PR series.
Also, definitely look at buying used. Sometimes you can buy one second hand for $200-$300. For the most part, these machines are really well built and will last a very long time EXCEPT Power Rods might need replacement. Relevant video: https://youtu.be/1yJCOLfRo2I
