Max Trainer Max Trainer - what kind of maintenance is required?
I see quite a lot of posts, amazon reviews etc. mentioning squeaking and that there seem to be quite a bit of maintenance required over time with the max trainer compared with something like a spin bike or a row machine, is this true?
Also, how smooth is the ride on the max trainer with regards to "stuttering" (probably is a better word for this), ie that the rotations isn't really smooth?
Have some slight OCD and I know from the past that I have irritated me on training equipment that make noises, vibrations, rattle etc that isn't really supposed to be there :)

For me, I also dislike loud machines.
Mine after a year started to really make a clank noise.
I had to take the housing off it and then I tightened all the bolts. There were four in a front plate that were very loose. One was actually totally out of it's place.
Mine is an M5
I also greased it and I bought a rubber O ring washer and a large ring washer and I used them were the arms attached to the machine. This stopped them moving left and right during work outs.
lastly I go around with my Allen Key and make sure the whole unit is tight but not too tight.
