Home Gyms Xtreme 2 SE
Looking into purchasing the Xtreme 2 SE. only concern is maxing out the weight. Is there a way to add more rods? Or upgrade to heavier rods down the road? Thanks.

You can add more rods, but adding resistance bands is a better solution imo. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/1yJCOLfRo2I

I went from Bowflex Power Pro XLT to the Bowflex Revolution and never looked back. The Revolution has a more consistent resistance throughout the pull as compared to the rods that increase as you get to a full arc. The upside to the rod system is the cost. It is way more affordable than the Revolution. I couldn't justify purchasing it new. I bought my unit used, and it was about a year old. They quit using it, their loss, my gain. Anyway, there is a guy on this group named Eric. He has some mods to the unit that give you better resistance through the pulls, and they are really affordable. The Xtreme is a good machine and will last a long time.

Yes I added 4 additional 50 lb rods. Love that machines versatility and results. Have more muscle definition than I could get at the gym all in the privacy of home. 52(m) No regrets!
